The customer service as others said is appalling. I popped in with my sister and 11 week old miniature dachshund puppy who I was carrying in my arms. We asked if dogs were allowed inside and were told no (the only place we were turned away) so we planned to choose what we wanted (keep in mind there's no menu outside to choose from) and take the dog outside, whilst doing so the person at the till told us dogs weren't allowed to which I replied, I know we're just choosing then going to sit out and he looked at us, shrugged and rolled his eyes! Obviously bothered by our presence he didn't listen to our order, he over charged me by £10!! And then told me I had to pay extra for a cake he decided he didn't see me pick up..... The coffee was disgusting and badly made, my roll was cold by the time my drinks were done and even though there were at least 3 people working there was no queue management at all. We went to Starbucks down the other end afterwards, they were very welcoming, they allowed the puppy in and gave him a free pupaccinno. My honest advice, don't waste your time or money here, Sidoli's and Starbucks are a far better choice. I don't expect everywhere to let dogs in but there's no need for that attitude. Watching how those guys work and operate I can honestly say (dog or not) I will never use that Costa again, I wasn't the only one in there receiving bad service today and judging by the reviews I'm not the first and won't...
Read moreAberafan costa. My dad has been a costa fan for over 10+ years, however yesterday 11/06/23 was the worst customer service we have witnessed. My dad asked for semi skimmed milk in his coffee, after waiting 10 minutes due to a queue and lack of staff, the women with blue hair proceeded to make the drink with full fat milk. Due to the error of the milk my dad asked the women politely if he could have semi skimmed as that was what he had ordered at the till. Said women poured the milk down the drain in a huff while binning the cup, and decided to ignore our order for a further ten minutes, while serving people who had ordered after us. Completely understandable the women was the only member of staff on drinks however there was no need to prolong our order further because of one little mistake. As I have read further reviews of this costa it seems to be a common theme, of ignoring customer requests and their allergies. More staff and better customer service training definitely...
