Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Arrived 9.20pm Saturday 23rd February Was greeted by a girl sitting at a table who told us that it was her "shadow shift" and she could not serve us, but someone would be along shortly, no problem so I waited, the girl was polite and these things happen. After 5 mins, maybe more, a woman in a hoody appeared carrying a till/float, she was not wearing Costa uniform, she came behind the counter and rather curtly told me that she couldn't serve me for another ten minutes as she was "cashing up a till". I then left as we'd already been waiting pushing ten minutes and I didn't fancy waiting another ten. There was no apology or further explanation from the woman in the hoody, they just watched us walk out the door. I know it isn't a regular Costa, and trading patterns are strange, so I don't hold them to the same standards, but this really wasn't acceptable, real shame as we do tend to pop in here sometimes when the normal...

Disgusting treatment of customers in this place. Staff in there said there was no bread for toast as “they’d run out because it was busy yesterday” then proceeded to take a portion of toast out to a couple. I suggest the staff who work there either find another job because customer service is clearly not for you or seriously think about how lazy and selfish your actions are because the service was appalling and made me and my family feel very...

Ordered at the till, then waited, only to find there was a confusion and mix up with orders on preparation, was still waiting at front of queue, finding that people behind me were receiving there orders who were 3rd and 4th behind me. Only ordered 2 medium Latte Coffees. One girl barista completing orders, yet 3 guys taking orders, then they were interrupting her, so queue was just getting longer....
