Cottage Inn — Restaurant in Wales

We have been to this pub and enjoyed their food many times in the past however today we had a bad experince.We ordered a share platter Ploughmans,a childern meal and bangers and mash. After a 40 minute wait for our food at 4pm when it was very quite our food turned up. We had ordered the ploughmans before and had enjoyed it however this time it was a few pieces of cheese,four small bread rolls,a small bowl for coleslaw and a pile of bagged lettace leaves. No butter, apple,homemade chutney, other salad that had been on the platter the previous occasion we ordered it. We asked the waitress why it was so different and was told they had a new chef and this was how he does ploughmans. We explained this was no where near as nice as the dish last time.......So they brought out an apple and a dish of branston and we had to then ask for butter and plates. For nearly £10 I felt really disappointed with this meal.If this is the new chefs standards then good luck to them in the future. I for one will no longer be going here to eat and nor will I be encoutaging our guests to visit here either. I have been left feeling let...

Place is nice and tidy food is good what I would say is I was once there and was very disheartened to see discrimination shown at the upmost a young chap had stuck some music he liked on the jukebox the music was turned off and the young man was told that it didn't fit in with there establishment and the mood the would like to set well dont have a jukebox then in my opinion he was belittled and only offered a refund...

Online order for takeaway, food only

I order was missing one starter and no meals came with coleslaw as advertised, chips weren’t triple cooked chips as advertised and burger had no sauce what do ever. Had to wait 30 mins after my collection time and that was after it was pushed back by 20 mins. Staff were very friendly but food was nothing short of awful. Hopefully you get a better experience...
