Ordered for delivery. Used to order a regularly, except knew to avoid the prawn dishes but hey ho its the only chinese that delivers here. The chicken balls came and the batter was raw and paste like. I rang to tell them, and was shouted at and told it was not and not to order from them again. I fumed, they think im just trying to get a cheeky refund. So, despite my boyfriend asking if this is really a good idea, went down there with said soggy balls. It wasnt a good idea. She proceeded to peel away the paste and scream at me that the chicken is cooked. All the staff scarpered which of course, i understand now, this lady is crazy. She refused to even discuss that the batter was raw, and told me the chicken was 'cooked this morning'. Good start. After a whole back and forth where she mostly told me the chicken was cooked, she threatened to call the police. For a while after that, my boyfriend answered every issue i had with him with 'the chicken was cooked though'. Hes not my boyfriend now and i have to explain to dates who want a chinese takeaway and night in that im banned from the only one that delivers, like some late night...

They literally have a reputation for being terrible. So if you're new to the area, please don't bother. The food is: too greasy, gone off, loaded with preservatives, over cooked, bland, tasteless. The receptionist is rude, and the staff aren't very accomodating to requests. They often make mistakes, and forget to add items. "Will give you free next time" is not good enough because 1) that would require me to buy from you again. 2) someone in my group must go without an item paid for. 3) poor customer service. 4) relying on trust that you'd remember to give me the missing item next time. Honestly, just boycott the place so they have to sell up, and let someone else take over the place. Also, the place is ALWAYS empty, I never see anyone going in.... That tells you something right there! I went in once to grab a recent menu, and the place was dirty and gross. Even the reception desk felt sticky like they weren't cleaning it. So if the customer facing area was disgusting, I can only imagine what it's like out of sight in the kitchen, no wonder they have a 2 star food rating. Can't trading standards shut this...

I placed an order through the website for delivery, but was extremely disappointed when it did not arrive after waiting 1.5 hours. When I called to ask about the status, I was told that the order was not even showing up in their system. However, miraculously, the order suddenly appeared while I was on the phone and I was asked to go and pick it up instead. When I returned home, I was even more disappointed to find that we were missing some items from our order. I tried to speak to a manager about the issues, but was told that they were unavailable and no help could be provided. Overall, my experience with both the food and the service was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this...
