We had a lovely meal and sat out the back in the sunshine. It is on the high street and short walk from a car park. The menu is completely dairy and gluten free and all other allergens are noted on each menu item. The chilli with dairy and gluten free garlic bread and the Thai prawns were lovely and so were the chips. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for people with allergies and people without you can’t tell the difference on most things. Will definitely be back. It was so nice to know I could eat anything off the menu! There are also gluten free beers. It is accredited by gluten free association.

A person couldn't ask for a more pleasant stay. The decor is lovely, the room is spacious and comfortable. The food is fantastic and the staff is wonderfully friendly and make you feel very at home. Malcolm took great care of us and even gave us a ride to the train station when we left. I can't recommend this place enough, especially to anyone who has gluten issues. Everything on their menu is gluten free. I hope we can return here on a future trip.

We came here specifically because we saw that they were a fully gluten free restaurant. The menu was amazing, absolutely filled with choices. I had the duck, which was really tasty and I had the chocolate torte for dessert. It was really moist and tasted brilliant. We really enjoyed our meal, were impressed by the service and will most likely make a trip back there in the future.

Just spent a WONDERFUL weekend at The George And Dragon Inn. 100% dairy and gluten free pub and accommodation. ||A four hour trip from East Yorkshire was 100% worth it and I can’t recommend it highly enough: the welcome, the service, the accommodation was second to none, but most importantly THE FOOD WAS INSANELY GOOD- just see the photos! ||FRIDAY LUNCH: shared three starters:|Scotch Egg (quite frankly the best I’ve ever had) |Onion Bhaji complete with a poppadom bowl and saag aloo- soooo delicious.|wagyu beef meatballs and tomato pasta (favourite of my other half who isn’t DF and GF) ||FRIDAY DINNER:|Rich and creamy mackerel pate with the most amazing GF bread.|Wagyu Beef Massaman (fave of my other half) |The first lasagne I’ve had in about 20 years when eating out and it did not disappoint. |Rich and sweet sticky toffee with the best DF custard I’ve ever had. ||SATURDAY BREAKFAST:|Was still soooo full (the portions are BIG) so had a smallish one. You can literally pick anything you want really. I had sausage, egg and beans, with more GF toast! ||SATURDAY DINNER: |Thai green chicken curry, packed with favour and an enormous amount of chicken!|chicken roulade with a rich and creamy mushroom sauce. 🤤|a generous portion of a devine Bakewell Tart and lashings of that incredible custard. ||SUNDAY CARVERY|An absolute stand-out carvery served by Malcom, the incredible chef. Had a mix of turkey and beef which were so succulent and full of flavour. And don’t get me started on the Yorkshires! |somehow managed to wolf down a pudding each, too: a triple chocolate brownie with the most delicious icecream I’ve ever had (honeycomb) and my FIRST EVER bread and butter pudding- it won’t be my last! ||The menu is relatively new and Malcolm already has amazing plans for the next one, so we will be back very soon! Seriously guys, this is a must-visit for us GF and DF folk, but listening to others in the restaurant who didn’t have any intolerances or allergies, it’s a must-visit...

So. We travelled 2 1/2 hours to try this šŸ’Æ percent gluten & diary free pub/ eatery. I have to say we weren’t disappointed. I had the belly pork which was outstanding & my partner had the gammon, which he informs me was the best he’d even eaten. ( he’s extremely fussy, so high praise indeed) we shared a sticky toffee pudding & also a choc & orange cheesecake & ice cream, when your used to getting a fruit salad or brownie & not much else this was like Christmas had come early wow they were soooo good . Service was great & Malcolm , Justin , Kate were all very welcoming & friendly. Even your large Dog was made to feel at home . We even went back in the morning for a full English breakfast, this is a service they provide the campers on Panpwnton farm where we were staying. They also have Rooms at the pub. We are planning a return trip later this year. Places like this are special & I urge everyone to try there delicious food you don’t need to be gluten free my partner isn’t & he loved it all. You just wouldn’t have known it was gluten & diary free . Food doesn’t need wheat in it , so most of the time it’s just a bulking tactic to make things go further , more money for the companies. I think our spotless clean plates said it all šŸ˜‹ Best wishes See you...

I'm a coeliac and when I saw The George and Dragon... I just knew I had to visit. As its is 2 and a half hours away for us, I booked a room to stay over night. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our gorgeous room, the service was outstanding. This is the only 100% gluten and dairy free restaurant in Wales and it was so refreshing as a coeliac to have a large menu to order from and to know whatever I ordered, I would be completely safe to eat. Malcom the chef was absolutely incredible, all the food was completely delicious. My husband is not a coeliac, and he thought all the food was out of this world too!! We spoke to many other guests while we were there, who also were blown away by all their food too.|Honestly can't recommend this place enough... If your coeliac or not..your sure to be blown away by the outstanding food and the friendly service. We can't wait to return very soon.. And stay longer, to try...
