Hing Tai — Restaurant in Wales

Well what can I say! This used to be our favourite and the best tasting chinese within the area up until this evening! Our order was delivered 30 mins late and on arrival was stone cold and the poppadoms were in tiny pieces! I had already rang twice to complain about it being late and recieved awful customer service over phone. My husband decided to get in the car and drive to the shop and return our food, requesting a new HOT meal. On arriving there he was called a liar and informed that we had ordered our meal for a different time, although on the telephone they agreed it was late. My husband asked for a new meal and was told no, the money was practically thrown at him and was told to go!!! Honestly the WORST Chinese I have ever ordered. I say ordered because it was inedible. It was wasted.

You’ve heard of twice cooked chips right? Well these were infinity cooked chips! I had Schezuan Chicken and an egg fried rice also. The rice was edible but the chicken dish was not. I’ve seen milk with more colour.

Also had a mixed starter which was the driest hardest mess I’ve ever had the misfortune to put in my mouth, I would have given a kidney for a cup of sand to quench my thirst after trying to eat it.

Ordered for pick up and items were missing. Was offered free prawn crackers for spending £40 and we had to pay for them. Had 1/4 aromatic duck and was mainly fat and specifically asked for a vermicelli dish without spice and was told this dish was plain and it came spicy. So absolutely poor meal, quality and service. Do not waste your money better off driving...
