Walking into Honeybee House was like stepping into a simpler time, away from the hustle and bustle and stress of today. You are greeted by a team of lovely and warm hosts from whom you can just sense their passion and enthusiasm. The lunch menu was short and sweet, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with options but at the same time not lacking choice. I had a ham and cheese toastie, with ingredients sourced from local, independent businesses, which tasted like home. It also came with a wonderful salad and delicious homemade coleslaw. I had a sweet and rich Turkish delight hot chocolate with a soft and fluffy Victoria sponge. The decoration was gorgeous and the effort which must have gone into it spoke for itself. The atmosphere is so relaxed and pleasant. The stereo played what I can best describe as “old timey” songs, maybe from the 40s? Which I personally liked a lot, and contributed to the theme they were going for. Even down to the dishes and cutlery used, everything was on theme. What an incredible place to stop in for lunch or just a sweet treat with a spot of tea in the heart of Llanishen. Proud to support this business. I cannot praise the family behind Honeybee highly enough. Thoroughly recommend.

I am genuinely surprised by how good this tea rooms is. Usually they’re twee and nice but on the whole the service is usually okay at best and the food is meh. This is not the case at all! Firstly, you can actually make reservations easily. When you arrive they’re warm and friendly and have the forethought to get your table cleared 15 mins before you arrive. The food is delicious! We had lunch and cake and I have to say the Victoria sponge was one of the best I’ve had. They do run out of scones early though! Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around there so give yourself 10 mins to find a spot if you’re driving. I will be back - need to try their afternoon tea!

A lovely little tea house owned by a mother, daughter duo. Everything is home made and delicious. I highly recommend booking in advance as they fill up very quickly! There are two tables by the entrance that are dog friendly and some outdoor seating. I enjoyed my Turkish Delight hot chocolate, it was to die for! I wanted the after eight one as well, they all sounded incredible. The tea cup & plate decor was very cute, it made it feel warm and inviting. It was overall a lovely experience, the food, the atmosphere & staff were fab.

The young lady behind the counter, was so slow you had to wait so long for her to take the order. Then you had to wait an age for your order to come to the table. If you have all day to wait, this is the place for you. We ordered a pot of tea & two slices of cake & it took 17 minutes to arrive. If Selah cafe & tearooms, want business, they must employ staff who are suitable to work in a catering environment, as this young lady was dreadful. Also do customers want to see her swigging out of a coke bottle in full view of the paying guest. Perhaps she should have a few lessons in decorum. I'm sorry I couldn't recommend this tea rooms to others it's trying to be something it's not. I didn't take a photo as I didn't think it was...
