Hot Chilli Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Wales

This was the strangest Indian cuisine my husband and I have ever experienced. We had an entree of the tandoori tasting plate that definitely didn't see the inside of a tandoori oven. The meat had been stir fried with loads of onion, in a tandoori paste. Also the samosa was very odd tasting. I had chicken tikka masala for main which was in the weirdest masala sauce ever. It tasted like coconut flour mixed with tomato paste. My husband's curry was listed in the "one chilli" list, meaning mild, we assumed, but it was super hot. Staff were very polite teens and I'm presuming the other older guy was the owner. I'm mixed race and don't particularly like spicy food so the guy questioned this a couple of times asking where I'm from and that it will be too mild for me and to order something hotter.. So I told him I don't like spicy food and stuck with my order.. Clearly thought that with my skin colour I should be eating spicy food.. but he was friendly overall. Went with my friend Dr Veronica Wilson for a meal. Starters Starters me King Prawn on puri, good portion but tastless and underspiced. Friend had Tandoori King Orawn _ totalky overcooked main friend had Lamb balti which was passable. I had a tandoori mixed grill which was totally overcooked and dry. When asked how was food explained dry and overcooked response "oh sorry" and walked away. Came to pay bill and asked to speak to owner and expained problems, immediately removed cost from bill. Not the point really the kitchen/chef wants sorting. Told him next time I would be looking for some improvement, he replied "sir I will make sure it doesnt happen again"...
