Not a great experience,first time at port talbot kaspas I usually go to bridgend but as that's closed we thought we would have a treat at port talbot one. Firstly it was far to busy for the amount of staff that were on, 1 lady making ice cream orders and answering the phone and serving on till. We waited absolutely ages for our waffles, my daughters came first it was cold, but she ate it. I told the lady that if the other 3 come out cold I will be having a refund, they were warmer than the first but still not great, if i had my way I'd have had refund and left but my kids were starving by this time.. I was shocked to have it served on paper plates and wooden cutlery, in bridgend u have proper cutlery and plates.. from what I could see tonight there is more interest in the deliveries that are going out than any concern for the customer that's sitting there waiting for orders,no apology for the waiting time,no apology for it being cold either.. not blaming the lady really she was up to her neck in it, rushing around making orders and actually stopping them to answer the phone. Very badly run as not enough staff.. I'm surprised at kaspas to deliver such a poor standard of customer service and desserts that were far from acceptable in my opinion. No atmosphere in there at all, no music nothing.. . Very Very poor to...
Read moreYesterday evening me and a friend visited the port talbot branch for some dessert at around 8.45. When ordering, I asked for tap water as I usually do, to be told that they didn’t have any? Okay. Fine. I’ll pay extra for bottled water then. When asked if I wanted cream or icecream with my crep, I asked for cream. When our order came, it was served on a paper plate with wooden cutlery, I’m not sure as to why? At first I thought as it was near closing time, it may be an issue of them not having time to clean plates ect, but I looked over behind the counter to see there was multiple staff there standing around, doing nothing. As we tucked into our deserts, I realised that my crep came with icecream which I can’t eat, as I have sensitive teeth, but not a huge deal. My crep was heavily under cooked and cold. My friend’s cinnamon bun was also very very dry and like a rock. I’m usually not one to complain, but when we both paid £10+ for a dessert, I expect it to be cooked and not served on a paper plate and forced to buy bottled water. I do enjoy a kaspas, when I visit Cardiff or Cwmbran, but I will never visit port...
Read moreI’m not from the area but I’m familiar with Kaspa’s and I know what standards to expect when eating here.
This has got to be THE WORST Kaspa’s I have ever visited;
Plastic Cutlery Plastic Plates Rude Staff
I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life, how can you dine in an establishment and eat your treat off plastic cutlery and plates? You’d expect this with a takeaway service but why offer a dine in experience when you can’t provide the bare minimum.
9/10 when I visit Kaspa’s I order cookie dough, when given the option for cream or ice cream with my desert I was told I could only have hazelnut ice-cream. This hasn’t happened in any other establishment, after some convincing the very unhelpful member of staff let me have my preferred Vanilla treat.
Me and my friends would never return to this poorly run business. I recommend others to...
