Maggie’s — Restaurant in Wales

Unfortunately no baby changing facilities. Toilet very small and unclean so not possible to change a baby in there. Was asked (rudely) to change 12 week old baby out in the street which was not feasible as also had toddler and pram so had to leave. A real shame as the food and coffee has always been nice and we try to support local small businesses. We have been going for years, long before babies. Would hope for a cafe in a small family village to be more...

Good coffee - last visit tables were dirty and unwiped with crumbs on the chairs. Also more importantly cheese & onion toasted sandwich made by melting the cheese in the microwave and sliding onto toast - proved to be very rubbery to eat!

Food is pricey for standard fayre. I had a ham baguette which was small for the price and nothing special in terms of quality for either bread or meat although the side salad was nice and fresh. I also had a child’s jam sandwich for my grandson which comes with a drink and bag of wotsits but cost £5 which I think is alot for shop bought bread and jam.
