I witnessed a whole new level of arrogance earlier! I won’t mention names due to Data protection. I lovely young lady name beginning with K was busy at the front sending orders out. She saw me approach the till and politely asked a female manager (who was wearing a white shirt) if she was free to serve me? Obviously it was beneath this Manager to serve me, she went out of her way to find someone who could serve, which took longer than doing it herself. Out of curiosity I watched the female Manager to see if she was busy in all fairness. She wondered up the production line in the kitchen, clearly looking for something to do. She then picked up a small brush and was flickering crumbs off the surface around the nugget counter. If the franchise owner is interested, play the CCTV back because you’ll see for yourself my complaint is based on facts. I called the store to ask for the Store Manager details to send a complaint to. The male Manager jumped to his colleagues defence - saying “she was needed in the kitchen”. It wasn’t busy at the time and she had to look for something to do. Again, I find this also unacceptable! These two Shift Managers are meant to be role models to their team. Read moreAfter ordering on the McDonald's app the estimated delivery was 30 minutes from sending the order. OK, I can live with that, would have preferred our sausage and egg Mc Muffin breakfasts sooner but I do realise they have to cook it and deliver it so the wait would be worth it in the end. I kept checking the time which was going up every time I looked and by the time the hour was up I was just about to eat my own arm. Eventually after and hour and 20 minutes I rang the restaurant. Oh, they were having technical difficulties and didn't know exactly when they would open. Apparently they managed to cancel all orders except the ones that came through on their own app. As they had my phone number I assume the technical difficulties were not just with whatever in the shop and the app it stretched to the phone lines as well. Can't comment on the food as we didn't get it but if I could give zero stars for their lack of knowledge on how to use their own app and customer services I would. Read moreBefore traveling home to Yorkshire after visiting a relative, we popped into Macdonalds Queensferry to get the children something to eat. This was around 7:30 / 7:45. An area had been blocked off so we sat in an available seat. The lady cleaning was extremely abrupt and aggressive towards customers. She was scraping chairs across the floor to the point we could not have a conversation. She was spraying jets of cleaning solution around. When we asked her if she could do this away from the table she looked us up and down and ignored us. Another couple walked in and was told they couldn’t sit down as she had to finish work at 10pm!!! It was 8pm at the time!! She then complained to the store manager in front of all the customers. Nobody received an apology and her behaviour didn’t change. It was a very poor end to an enjoyable visit to Wales for us. The manager just said she doesn’t listen to him either...
