So, after threatening McDonald's Customer Services with legal action over this appalling store, there has been a climactic change in both the quality of the food, and the attitude of the Staff! ALL our home deliveries since have been correct, hot, and neatly bagged. I really couldn't fault them at all. Even the feral teenagers have disappeared from outside the store in the evenings! I've left my original review below so you can see the phenomenal improvements that have been made. I only hope they continue...
If I could give NO ☆'s I would! This is, by far, THE worst McDonald's it's ever been my misfortune to patronise! Friends told me it was rubbish, but it's my local for delivery. I should have listened! TWICE I've ordered the nine Chicken Selects box, and both times I've received Chicken Nuggets! Last night was the final straw: Chicken Nuggets instead of Chicken Selects, two half empty Large Fries, NO dips, and the large banana milkshake was only 2/3 full...😡
...they never answer the phone, so I went into the store: The 'Manager' looked about 12, and flatly refused to do anything about it! I had to 'take it up with the delivery company (Uber).' I pointed out it was cooked, bagged, and labelled (the receipt stuck to the bag was correct) by THEM, all Uber did was collect and deliver it. When KFC kept getting our deliveries wrong, the Manager replaced our entire £40 order FOC, but not this useless excuse for a takeaway. They wouldn't even give me the name of the Franchisee, so i could take it up with them! THAT is my next task...
Read moreI'm fed up with ebbw vale mcdonald's everything we order is wrong, been living here since the 1st November 2024, to date all deliveries via the app have been wrong resulting in a loss of around 20 quid off my money. When Manager was approached they were very rude. They blame the uber drivers but really they only collect sealed bags and deliver what is given to them so that is wrong. They are making money from us and refusing to deal with the issues plus they don't answer the phone. It's interesting if you add up the cost of what actually is missing from app orders. In December I took mum into the store and we ate in, this was also interesting as I ordered via the system in there, then it states on the board please collect order number blah blah, so I went to the counter to collect and waited 5 minutes, no one came to the counter to speak with me and I had to ask the cleaner to go and attract attention. Whilst we ate I could see what was going on behind the counter, it's no wonder they don't get app orders correct with the amount of time wasting and gossiping that goes on, this place needs serious management, and the staff need managing, I've had 30 years in management and what I saw was deal it needs a firm hand, staff outside smoking to! Anyway nothing will change the fact that app deliveries are wrong and they are keeping the money and refusing to deal with the concerns, I'm amazed this place has a plus 3 rating disgraceful service, staff with no customer service management...

Contacted store to be told there nothing they could do about it unless I attended the store and informed me to contact uber (even though it wasn’t them that cooked and packed the order). Despite ordering a delivery because you cannot get to the store this offer was totally unhelpful. Managers Jack and Georgia customer service skills were non existent. Even stated ‘it wasn’t me that made it so I can’t take responsibility for it!’ 🤣 As a manager of a team I think you’ll find you are more than responsible for your staff and your products, is that not the whole point of managerial hierarchy and the higher pay scale? Continues to inform me that there was nothing that could be done as there is no record of my online order?, bizarre in a world of online ordering and high tech.
