Atmosphere was lovely and the waitress was very polite however my mum got food poisoning from the Victoria sponge shortly after eating only that, which was a real shame as it looks like a lovely place.

Hi Miss Bee, I have full confidence in the weight of criticism applied in my review above. Your Victoria sponge was the first food my mother consumed that day, falling ill within a short time frame and showing clear symptoms of food poisoning.

Your establishment provided a warm and welcome feeling with good service to complement. It would be unfair to future customers if I removed the description of my true and full experience an elderly or vulnerable person may have been severely affected - my mother herself was ill for 24 hrs.

Customers expect a catering business who "takes food hygiene seriously" to champion customer health and safety. I fell ill after consuming your products and your response is calling my review rhetoric and asking for it to be removed. Is this an example of taking food hygiene and customer service seriously?

Sadly , dissapointed. We had booked a secure dog field in Llanbradach, to meet with my daughter and her fiancee, and the dogs for 2pm to have a lovely afternoon tea in the Easter sunshine. I personally went in to order 3 vegetarian boxes, and when I arrived at 1.30, the order had been mixed up, so hence was not done. I was told it wouldn't take long to swop the sandwiches in the box. So I waited, took the boxes, problem sorted, I thought. That I would have been reasonably ok with, the fact that sandwiches which contained meat had been swapped, however, when we opened them, one contained ham, which my daughter's fiancee bit into, not expecting meat, and actually made him sick. There was also a smoked salmon sandwich, and none of the avocado, or other interesting veggie sandwiches that had been promised. I hardly ever write bad reviews, but first the missed order, then meat, I'm afraid I felt like it needed to be said.£35, and dissapointment, happy talk goes to dissatisfaction, and kind of ruins...

Rang Vicky this morning to ask if she would/could deliver four afternoon teas this afternoon. She went above and beyond to help, and, right on time four beautifully presented boxes arrived at my door. All I can say is Wow!! Absolutely stunning. Each box contained beautifully filled sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, cakes, grapes and other delights!! Very generous portions of everything. Just want to say thank you so much Vicky. Mum absolutely loved it, and I’m 100% certain that we’re going to be returning customers....
