Preferred it before the refit as it now feels a bit more like a uni refectory rather than the cosy boozer it used to be, especially as you now have to order food from the cafe outside and wait for frozen chips to be heated up (if you want chips definitely go to one of the chippies along the road). Kids' fish fingers were small and more like fish knuckles sadly. This pub could be amazing but seems to just want to cater for high volume tourists rather than a quality experience. Interesting that Christmas decs are up in October. Assume ten months late rather than two months early.

The steak and Ale pie was dreadful, it was dry and I don't know what ale they used because it was bland and tasteless and has what seamed like absolutely no seasoning inside. It was supposed to to come with gravy but it didn't and the carrots were very rubbery. The plate was dirty also and chips were like the bottom of the bag that you get. Only giving it 2 stars because they have decent beer and the lad that served us was very nice. I was going to get the lasagne until he mentioned it wasn't home made. I doubt the pie was home made as it says on the menu either.

Great place you could tell by how busy it was. Beers from one side food from the other but works well. There were lots of dogs at the time we visited so if you don't like dogs maybe go inside. The prices were reasonable the food was good and the beer was cold. Will go again if I am in that area.

The staff were really lovely. Could not have been more helpful! Good mix of nice customers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and tidy including WC. Small free carpark. Unfortunately the food really let the place down. Ordered cheese burger and chips. The barm was huge like you get from the chippy but the burger tiny, dry and burnt. 1 slice of plastic cheese. Barely a handful of large cut chips that were full of sharp edges. And the worst excuse for salad I have ever seen. Wilted lettuce, stale thick cut onion and 1 quarter of a dry tomato. Stuck on the plate not even eon the burger. I would say it was more like a fairground burger stand than pub grub. I would still go in there for drinks as it was a nice place with a...

I went to the Morton Arms on Sunday 30th August 2020 with 5 other people and found it very good with friendly staff and I would recommend it to anyone, but please book in advance because it gets busy. The only issue I have as a disabled patron in a wheelchair is that I found i could not use the disabled toilet facilities as the door was not wide enough for my wheelchair(i will be looking into this further) which I found very inconvenient as I had to go outside to do my business. However, this will not be putting me off from going there again as everything...
