Upon our arrival staff were very helpful and polite, checked in easily and a little early as the caravan's were ready, the caravan's were all lovely and clean and they tried to put us as close together as possible. The actual camp itself was kept clean and well maintained, gardeners were out taking care of the grass and removing any rubbish. Nice indoor heated pool which is good for all ages but under 12 need to be in the pool with an adult as no life guards only a pool attendant. Good little indoor play area for kids and a large indoor ball pit, a little arcade and the shop is well stocked with a range of things for sale from essentials to gifts to take home. They had some entertainment on throughout the week aswell including kids disco and cash bingo. Nice quiet camp and look forward to going back.

Recently stayed at Palins, from the start to the end was a pleasant experience and holiday, just be aware that when not in the peak season the shop/chippy/arcade may not be open during the day, our first day we signed in and everything was explained clearly, we paid the extra to get the WiFi which helped with teenagers with us, using the laundrette was easy enough, just note that there's only 3 washers and 3 dryers so if it's a busy day you need to be careful. Other patrons and owners of the caravans are all friendly and it is a great atmosphere, will definitely be going back during the main season next year and hopefully later this year

Had an amazing week. Kids loved it. Only thing is there really needs to be a cash point on site. As the contact changer in amusement takes Ur money but don't pay out. Still waiting on payment to be returned to bank account.

we had a bronze caravan & to be honest it was not worth the £500 we spent on it! none of the windows shut properly, the handles were hanging from the windows, the oven didn't work properly there was a mop that wasn't fit for purpose the bucket had no handle which is very dangerous with hot bleach & water!,the pull out bed was broken, none of the curtains matched,we were told to not make any noise after 11 pm but music & singing kept going in the club past 12am!,the breakfast in The Magpie & Stump was disgusting cold beans which the & i use this word VERY loosely cook said wasn't cold after putting his finger into it!! so we demanded more fresh fresh beans as the kids were hungry, luke warm bacon which tasted like cardboard, the service was terrible from everyone at the park none of whom know how to say please & thank you apart from i should say the receptionist who checked us in the first day but the rest were terrible as were everyone who had a shop in town !,the fact you have to book to go into a kiddy pool is ridiculous there were supposed to be no more than 30 in the pool but we counted 57 in a tiny pool & with little children in there as well as my own 4 year old disabled grandson is ridiculous!,i could go on & on about our expierience but my main gripe about out week at Palins Hooliday Park,Towyn, wales is that theres NO WELSH PEOPLE!! it doesn't say much for a town when all the locals move out of it to be taken over by Mancunians & Liverpudlians i would've thought after spending a week in Wales id have met some nice welsh people but i only spoke to 1 yes 1 welsh man who shared my sentiments too all in all we won't be going back to Palins Holiday Park & probably not Towyn either if i want to meet the locals ill go to Toxteth...

Recently booked a weekend break to Palin's using UK, caravans 4 hire website.Chose this caravan because it looked lovely on the photos. What a shock when we arrived. It was filthy. The last occupants had left pooh all over both toilets. There were crumbs all over work tops and floor, some of the bed linen was stained with what looked like vomit and the washbasin and sink full of scum.,also grease and fat on the cooler and grill. Before unpacking.we cleaned it from top to bottom.Having to bleach the toilet,etc.etc. In hindsight we now realise we should have contacted the owner. On leaving this caravan it was spotless we moved furniture to clean underneath beds etc,as we would hate to think anyone to think we had left this mess. When I rang to get my deposit refunded,I told the owner what had happened, she then claimed that the cleaner had been in ,and that it was our word against hers, she made me feel like a liar.I was so upset I rang again that night to be told the cleaner had been fired. There were more issues .but too much to mention. All in all the lprevious guests were disgusting filthy pigs to leave some ones property in that state. The cleaner obviously hadn't been in.,but surely the owners must accept most responsibility, due to the fact they are running a business, and if they checked the van before paying guests arrived.all this could have been avoided. There reaction was,we should have rang them, and it was our own fault for cleaning up the mess ourselves.Needless to say we will not be visiting this...

Me and my boyfriend have got back from our weekend away we were not happy because the weekend away we had last year was amazing we booked on of palins caravans and we could not fault it so we booked again. When we checked in on Friday the lady on reception did not say anything so we went to our van it was a private owners van and we were shocked we got inside the van we had a looked around the was a lot of damage in the van so we went back to reception and told them and they said they would get someone over to fix the damage while me and boyfriend went out for a drink and something to eat we got back and nothing had be fix. There was no heating in the van it was so cold the fire in the living area was no good my boyfriend got the fire going but it didn’t work properly the main bedroom was so small we could not get down the side of the bed to get into bed my boyfriend had to climb over the bed to get in I had to go and buy a cover for the quilt and pillows and there was only 2 pillows and the quilt had blood all over it I booked a 2 bedroom van and I got a 3 bedroom van and there was only 2 of us and the day we checked I told the park manager everything and he was not bothered that we didn’t have a very good stay all he said was he would give us a discount of our next holiday I got a email yesterday they have given us a £84 discount but the holiday cost me £279 we will not be...
