Literally just left this Nando’s and had an awful experience. The last 3 times I’ve been to this Nando’s there has been no butterfly chicken, you clearly need to order more. I didn’t have to queue today for a table thankfully but it’s annoying to wait 20-30 mins like the previous times and then get told what you want isn’t even available anyway. Even though my NHS Discount has been linked to my Nando’s card online and I can prove I’m NHS by showing my Blue light card, work website which shows my face and states I work in the NHS and login to my nhs email in front of you, this isn’t enough to qualify for NHS discount. You expect me to carry my work card around when it’s something I don’t like carrying around as there’s more chance of it getting lost which then becomes a nightmare trying to get into my department at work. One of your employees spat his chewing gum into his hand and then into the bin and didn’t wash his hands. This is poor hygiene. There are plenty of serviettes available, why not just spit it out into one of those and then you wouldn’t need to wash your hands or just wash your hands after at the sink which was literally right by you. Even though we reminded you we were still waiting on a dessert, we were ignored, and nothing happened, we asked again and were told someone was in the process of getting our dessert, then someone else came to the table and asked what we ordered (surely if you were in the process of getting our dessert you know what we ordered?!) then I just said to forget it and that I’m 6 months pregnant and have already been messed around and can’t deal with this anymore you finally come up with the dessert and when I say I don’t want it anymore, I’m leaving as I’ve had enough, you like to point out to me I’ve already paid for it. I’m not stupid, I know I’ve paid for it, it’s frustrating that my nhs discount wasn’t honoured so I paid over the odds and now you’re poor service means I’ve paid for a dessert that I didn’t end up getting, it doesn’t take much common sense to...
Read moreFirst time in a long time we have ordered for collection. We ordered a family Platter, another whole chicken and a chicken liver. The whole chickens were meant to be Peri Tamer and Medium spice and both come plain. It took 20mins to call the restaurant and I was asked to email a photo. I explained the kids have all eaten as I had to brush table BBQ sauce all over both chickens seeing as they were plain and dry and tbh after we were waiting to eat, taking photos didn’t enter my mind as it was all rush rush with 3 kids all hungry as it was getting on for 18:40pm. I wish I took photos because the chicken looked awful even after I brushed BBQ table sauce over it, it just wasn’t the same at all.
We are or were huge Nando Fans and we normally eat in and it’s always nice but after the service I have received from Nantgarw I will NEVER re visit this place again. I emailed as I was asked to, then got a reply saying I was asked to email photos “that I didn’t have” even though I explained I didn’t have them and replied to now be ignored. Who ever emailed me “manager” I assume didn’t leave a name on email or even bothered to reply to me after my second email.
Shocking service and not to accept they messed the order up is even worst. The chef would know damn well he didn’t put sauce on either 🤦🏼♂️
As you can see from my pictures the email I received didn’t have a name of who sent it “poor management” and then I haven’t received a reply from my second email that...
Read moreUnfortunately, it is a mixed bag. We had dinner here and there was a 40 minute wait, but that's understandable as it is Nando's. We were seated and I ordered online. As part of the cha ges, you no longer get your own drinks. Instead, they are brought to your table. You do not have a specific server, but instead you get help from whoever is available or whoever you can get the attention of. Unfortunately, my Coke Zero was flat and tasted horrible. I kept tryi g to get the attention of any server, but didn't manage to for multiple minutes, at which point I gave up and decided to wait for my meal. It took almost exactly 30 minutes from order of the meal to it being brought to the table. The food was hot.at least, but I was finally able to get a palatable drink (Fanta). While I finished my drink fairly quickly, I had little luck getting anyone's attention again and just gave up. We ended up having one drink each for our meals as no one ever came by to ask if we needed anything and we just didn't feel like resorting to yelling just to get a server's attention. So, while the food part is great, the service and attention to customers (with any follow up) is sorely lacking. I would have hoped that by being reopened for this long would have allowed them to adjust, but that hasn't...
