Pendragon — Restaurant in Wales

Unfortunately the pub and beer garden is super run down and very dirty. I sat down with my partner and dog on a bench at a table outside and instantly got covered in sticky stuff that was all over the bench. The table was also super sticky everywhere to where it would then stick to my elbow and then when I leant on the menu it had my elbow print on there and the dirt would stick to the laminated menus and put dirt onto that! One waiter also came out to ten out dog that he couldn’t jump on the table outside (which is fair even though the table we were sat at had old gum and bird poo on it) but he was so rude in the way he said it it made us want to leave. The waiter said ‘can you get your dog off the table people eat there you know’. There’s a polite way of saying things and a rude way. He also said it to myself when I was alone and my husband had gone in to order food. Anyway very disappointing and not friendly member of staff. Been here a few times usually a lovely meal however on this occasion it was disappointing for both my husband and myself who's meals weren't great. Mixed grill was dry and came out long after our group had their food, I ordered salmon and dill tagliatelle- salmon came out in what could only be described as tasting like an unseasoned tin of tomatoes! It left a bad taste! I only managed a few mouthfuls, when I complained the waiter told me he didn't know what the dill sauce should look like, shrugged at me and took the plate away. I was offered an alternative with no explanation, however the group had already finished their meals by this time and I was not prepared to wait as long as I had for my original meal. Went today for a birthday meal with family tables not cleaned or cleared staff not helpful at all food wasn’t nice steak was charcoal the chips were soggy in old oil really greasy the butter chicken was to crunchy on top an soggy with grease at bottom lettuce hadn’t been washed and tasted awful for the price of the food it wasn’t much on the plates the prawn cocktail was warm couldn’t eat it The was no presentation on the food been served I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS A 5 star rating at all an needs re looking at
