Suburban Coffee Shop and Delicatessen — Restaurant in Wales

Disappointing lack of hygiene standards.

Popped in for the first time last week. Waited over 10 minutes for a takeaway coffee as the lady behind the counter was on her own.

Eventually another woman appeared from the back of the shop, followed by a small child (7/8 years maybe), who was visibly unwell with a cold and stood behind the open cake counter coughing as the woman served on the till. The lack of adherence to basic hygiene policies in hospitality was super unprofessional and I won’t be back.

Found this by chance driving through Rhiwbina & what a find! Fantastic food & coffee with lovely relaxed vibe. Great selection of breads & fillings, served with rocket & red cabbage slaw (which was heavenly), we opted for the focaccia which was delish! This coffee shop has an incredible community vibe, with great coffee, food and the BEST customer service. Will be bringing everyone I know here. You can tell they really love where they work and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy and comfortable.
