Plas Llanelly House — Restaurant in Wales

We went for breakfast this morning the breakfast was amazing freshly cooked. The front of house were verry rude did not smile. We asked if we had to wait to sit they said just sit over there the young girl did not take us to A table as I would have expected. Once we ordered I waited 15 minutes for our lattes in that time another couple came in and they served them there drinks before us I had to ask for our lattes. Once the food came I had to go back up and ask for cutlery there was 3 young kids they laughed when I said we had no cutlery but the young boy gave it to me but the 2 girls were laughing. I went back to the table and then realised I had no butter I had to ask for that. The food was cooked to A high standard but the three that were front of house gave A terrible service and it seemed as if there should have been someone managing them. I would only come back if the service at font of house...

We heard that Llanelli house were collecting children's used school bags and asking for tooth brushes etc for disadvantaged children from third world countries. My 6 year old daughter was keen to give one of her old bags and we went to Llanelli and spent several pounds on the other items that were requested.

We entered Llanelli House and asked a female member of staff working in the cafe who said "yes i think so". I told my daughter to give the bag and accessories to the lady thinking she would make a bit of a fuss of her, maybe give her a sticker but she barely said thank you!!!

I nearly asked for the bag back!

Plain rude, my daughter was so disappointed in how the bag was just taken from her.

Thanks to your excellent manager Craig and the catering staff, we have just come back from a brilliant trip to Llanelli House. We were a party from an elderly club in Blackwood, in the Gwent Valley, and those with limited mobility were really well cared for and with consideration. Craig's attention to detail on the history of the house was so well appreciated and the video displays in the tea room, the ladie's chamber and upstairs servants quarters, was well appreciated by the group. Also, our earlier two course meal was above excellent and the catering service was second to none. We admit we were a little sceptical on where we were going but it turned out to be a very rewarding excursion, and will certainly recommend you to our friends and family. Thank you again and...
