Do nit go in this pub. Irs so clicky. I got told no dogs was allowed on bar do I sat in bear garden. The younge bar lady came out, asked for id although she had already served me alcohol. She came back out telling me my one teR old Freuchie had to be on a lead. I said no problem. 10mins later she came back telling me my puppy had to be tied up to bench. Myself and 19 year old daughter were only people out the garden. She then continued to spy on us and duck as we seen her. She was so weird. As I took our orange juice classes up to bar while leaving, I asked why there was a very old sheep fog kind of fog just walking around the bar if no dogs were allowed in. Even tho the dog was gorgeous ๐Ÿ˜. She told me she wasn't going to be questioned and to contact Emma the manager for any queries. I was completely out of my comfort zone. Clicky pubs are not usually an issue as I'm only popping in for a juice. This pub was being nasty rude and very hostile due to use not being locals. It was so rude and uncalled for how this bar lady was towards...

The staff may seem strict to most, but in my opinion this is needed to keep the pub tidy. There is a lot of people I know who are banned from here and the pub is a lot better off without them. They seem to have zero tolerance to anti social behaviour or drugs.

Whilst it is one of the safest pubs in the Rhondda I know of it can be very clicky. Unless you've grown up in Porth since birth and was very popular good luck even striking up a conversation with someone in there.

I can speak from experience as for my job I travel all over UK and visit different pubs. As a Welshman I'm more likely to get a warm welcome and make friends in an English pub or in...

The Rheola Hotel since refurbishment is my go to place in the Valleys for a pint and banter with the locals.. With friendly accommodating landlord and lovely bar staff, and good selection of drinks. Pool table, dart board and show live sports and number of TV screens.. have a lovely boutique outdoor area where you can imagine that you are over looking the sea.. Nice little suntrap when the sun makes an appears.. and...
