May Bank Holiday weekend and the place was extremely busy so have taken this into a account in my rating. Sat outside under the cover you have a fabulous view of Borth y Gest beach and beyond - unless a van or large 4x4 parks on the roadside, and then you see nothing. Staff very pleasant but waited a good half hour or more before our order taken. Then it was a further long wait for our coffees, which were far from hot, lukewarm actually, when the arrived. Waited a further half hour for our paninis and we even asked if they had forgotten us. I have to say were delicious when they finally arrived but we had well and truly finished our coffees and didn't wish to order more given time it took for our first cup to arrive. My friend had finished and asked for the bill to be told to go to the counter. I stopped eating for a moment to speak to my dog and when I looked up the remnant of my panini and salad had been cleared away. My friend mentioned when paying about the delays and the fact the coffees were cold and was told she could have asked for hot water!! I won't say I won't eat there again but I will be very loathe to, and it definitely won't be during holiday season and...

A Hearty Breakfast In A Quiet Water Front Village

Cafe : Sea View Cafe Bistro & Coffee Lounge

After a nice little stroll through what seemed like a quaint fairytale land, we headed to the picturesque seaside village of Borth-y-Gest to fill our tummies.

The Admiral (GBP 10.95)

A nice hearty breakfast consisting of 2 strips of bacon, a juicy sausage, traditional black pudding, a fried egg, crispy golden brown hash brown, baked beans, mushrooms, grilled tomato and nicely toasted bread.

Recommended? Well, it’s your traditional English Breakkie! Sure why not?

Eggs Royale (GBP 10.50)

A poached egg sitting on a toast and salmon with a dallop of sauce served with a slice of lemon to give the dish a nice zesty finish.

Recommended? Sure why not

All in all it was a homely little cafe decorated with marine fixtures serving mouth watering Breakkies. After which, you might want to even take a little stroll along the water front to slowly let your tummies digest!

Visited Friday night (October 4th)with friends for an evening meal had booked a table for 18,15.On arriving we were greeted by a member of staff and shown to our table she brought the menu and said she would give us a few minutes then take our drinks order. She was very friendly and made us welcome. We ordered our drinks and meals ,after a short time the drinks arrived and the place began to fill up ,good job we booked .The meals when they arrived were well presented and really tasty ,the sea bass I ordered was great and all the meals were great value for money . We decided to have breakfast there on the Saturday morning before making our way home the waitress booked us a table for 10 am ,the time they open .On Saturday morning the place was full and the breakfast was great and set us up for the day .Will visit again if back that way and can highly...

I love Seaview. It’s my special go to place when I need to escape, eat good food and be in a lovey surrounding. Yesterday was my birthday and I decided to take myself for early dinner to my special place as the food is always delightful. I had a table for one with. Glass of fizz to celebrate, Drunken mussels and finished with cake and Ice cream. The girls came out with a candle in my cake and sang “happy birthday” to me. I cried. It was a moment of kindness that touched me so much, because my daughters were unable to be with me. It will be a treasured memory and appreciated more than they will ever know ❤️ Thank you for making my day special xxx

This cafĂŠ is actually split into 2 parts; an eat in and a takeaway side. We went to the takeaway side and, actually, ate just at the front which has some rustic barrels to sit at and a delightful view over the Harbour. We ordered some Ciabattas with a side order of chips. The staff were friendly and courteous and always willing to help. The food was very tasty. It was hot, the chips were beautiful and the side salad was fresh with a lovely dressing over it. It's not cheap here but actually, once we'd finished, we were very happy with the value. We returned the next day!

Brilliant little place. We called today n they were 5 mins from shutting the kitchen but still said we could order, I had Caesar salad( warm chicken, fresh chunky romaine lettuce, chickpeas, sweetcorn, red onion and delicious Caesar sauce, also ordered chicken n chorizo pasta, creamy sauce, piping hot and big pieces of chicken. Both delicious, served speedy and great customer service with a smile, highly recommend and we’ll definitely return . And dog friendly too!
