Wow, an absolutely spectacular burger and pizza place. We were struggling to find somewhere for food that wasn't a chip shop or cafe. We found this place as it was advertised at our campsite and we were not disappointed by our choice. The smash burgers are next level, juicy and packed full of flavour. I wasn't too keen on an fried egg on my burger but a quick request to change it to something else was easy. My partner had a pizza and it was spot on, perfect crust and just enough toppings on a pizza to avoid feeling stuffed. The atmosphere was good and the staff were super friendly. All in all I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick and tasty meal that's set in a lovely little town. 10/10.

This was our first time visiting Good Mood. It is a lovely small restaurant on the Porthmadog harbour. We all had pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them. If you're a fan of pineapple on pizzas then this place also obliges. At the time we were there they had ran out of gluten free burger buns but this wasn't a problem as I wanted a gluten free pizza anyway. It was delicious and we shared a side of chips (cooked in a separate fryer so also suitable for a gluten free diet). The service was very friendly too. We will definitely return.

We popped into Marina La Cucina on the back of its location and good reviews. Since it's right by the water you get great views whether you're inside or using the small outdoor space. It was pretty quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Which was fine although our food did arrive their later orders! Still our meals were tasty, such as the mussels and pizza, without being outstanding. All in all a decent experience with good service, satisfying food and a great location.

What a fabulous night at Good Mood. My husband and I went for our Valentines meal and the whole experience certainly didn’t disappoint.

To begin with we were greeted by the friendly staff with the warmest of welcomes which was just perfect. A Prava and a glass of Prosecco to follow whilst we looked through the exciting menu. With a range of choices, we were spoilt! We just wanted to have everything as it all sounded amazing.

Chicken wings of the day, Pork & Beef meat balls to start that just made your mouth water. The wings literally fell off the bone and the meatballs were just bursting with flavor. Accompanied by some warm, crisp bread to dip in the tomato & garlic sauce…. Still thinking about this sauce now!

Mains! The steak, cooked to perfection! The most creamiest peppercorn sauce with gratin potatoes was just Fabulous. The Spezzatino was perfect. Packed with flavour and the beef just melted in my mouth, again, accompanied by the crisp warm bread I mopped up all the sauce. Our plates went back CLEAN!

Desert was different but very enjoyable. Off the Valentines menu, we shared a lovers pizza. Nutella and banana on a sweet base was just the perfect way to end a perfect night.

All in all I would 100% recommend anyone to try Good Mood. We looked at other couples foods, the pizzas, the burgers, the pastas, you are definitely spoilt for choice! I nearly even asked a couple next to us if I could have a slice of pizza as it just looked so irresistible!

Can’t wait to go back and try EVERYTHING!

Thank you to all the staff, especially Charlotte for making our Valentines meal one...

I don’t come and write a review very often but we are staying local and decided on a meal out. After reading the reviews this seemed to be a really nice place to go. We ordered the garlic bread/ chips and then Tuscany chicken pasta and the king prawn carbonara. Both pastas were so bland and really watery. Not even a fleck of salt or pepper? The Tuscany pasta has sun blush tomato’s in it which seemed to be freeze dried and the chicken tasted like packaged? The prawns on the carbonara also seemed the same? No salt and pepper on the table and by the time the waiter asked how our meal was seemed redundant at that point to ask. I would never complain how tasteless a meal is but honestly I was disappointed. The garlic bread and chips were really nice but honestly I wouldn’t recommend nor go back. The staff were nice and the atmosphere next to the harbour was good but both pastas...

First time I've tried the food, always appears busy so thought we'd splash out on a £15+ burger. It was ok but needed salt - perhaps my taste buds but not the tastiest burger I've ever had by a long chalk, but I note they are hand made. Topping nice (I had bacon jam). Fries extra of course and appear cheap, definitely needed seasoning. France it is not. My burger was slightly pink inside, initially I was not too bothered about this, I'd expect this in some countries - I'll come onto why this might have been an issue in a bit. Companion had a pizza and base was flaccid, not crispy. Frankly we'd have eaten a scabby dog as it was nearly 9 by the time we ate; it was busy. Should have probably sent that back. That pinkness...it may or may not have been the reason my OH spent the night feeding the fishes... could have been eating too late, but still, we'll stick to local...
