Shanghai Chef — Restaurant in Wales

I am absolutely appalled by the way the service was tonight with Shanghai Chef. I've always used this Chinese for numerous years however I made an order at 9pm via their website. I waited up until 10.15pm still nothing,phoned the restaurant for them to tell me he's on the way. Then at 10.30pm still no sign so I phoned them back for them to contemplate if I made the order on just eat or uber. I told them no it was on your website,for them to turn around and say " oh I'll phone the chef now" huh don't make sense. All for the phone to be put down,so obviously I called back for them to say sorry we will get it sent out now!! When it did arrive at 11.05 not forgetting they close at 10pm when the delivery driver came finally I said to him they close at 10 he said no 10.30 so why does the time online say 10pm?? Also here is a pic of one of the dishes which was obviously made quickly as it's al dentè and full of bloody onions. Not...

Everything! purchased a £31.00 order for it to come in edible the chips where rock hard, the curry was too spicy even for someone who likes very spicy food, chicken was like rubber yet the batter was rock hard. It was freezing cold yet we only live a 2 minute drive away. In the tray meals you literally had 6 chips. When phoned to complain the 'manager' said it's due to them being quiet & we obviously don't like their food (yet we had an order from there last week when they just reopened which was fabulous) no apology or anything. when asked if them not being busy was an excuse for the food to be rubbish it was stated yes. absolutely appalling customer service will not use them again I will rather wait for ho wah house to open you can always guarantee a decent...

We are sorry but the restaurant is still unfortunately closed for sit-in ,but we still do takeaway (collection or delivery) due to complications and unexpected problems. We are also looking forward to reopening the restaurant for sit-ins but numerous issues keep popping up one after another, each preventing us from reopening. We still do not know when the restaurant will finally reopen, but we greatly appreciate our customers that still order takeaway from us and the support that all of you give us. We are reall happy to hear that our customers are eager for us to reopen,we definitely will do our best to reopen the restaurant. thanks again for all of your love and support!
