Sunday before last had a excellent meal here food arrived hot which I always like can't stand Luke warm food we had the beef dinner and my sister in law had lamb the beef just melted in your mouth and there was a nice portion of it the vegetables were fresh to and a lot of choice the only little jibe is that when your plate arrived it had some of the trimmings on eg the roast and boiled potatoes were very sparce if you wanted more you had to pay more also if you wanted anything more you had to pay never mind the food was delicious and the gravy to die for also the flavours of the food was excellent will go back there but make sure you book early before Sunday because it gets very busy don't book on day you could be disappointed also it would have been even better for us if it was a carvery that is my opinion excellent customer service to with all the staff well done eagle pup and...

The food was OK a bit overpriced. Car parking OK for about 20ish cars Play area out back Benches to the front Alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks ..dining room separate from the bar Walkway through the Restaurant to the outside And to the bar Toilets were in the Eating area .every time the door was opened you could SMELL Disinfectant AND URINE. enough to put you off your food ..service was slow as wasn't that busy .18.30 pm ...had to pre-order the food as there were 12 in the party .wrong food was brought out ... Then when the bill arrived after eating there more items on the list added than originally ordered ????? Yes I would eat there again but have the option of ordering there and then NOT pre-ordering a week in advance as can't change your order ...all round I'd give it...

When we visited it was closing in 10 days for refurbishment. So understandable not everything was available from the menu. It was very scruffy looking and should have had a refurb a few yesrs ago. Went to look at the garden and as I exited the patio doors there was approximately 200 cigarette ends all over the floor. Staff were out there smoking and they just threw their ends amoungst the 100s of others. The cutlery was dirty and had to be replaced and when our meal arrived there were items missing such as tomatoes and mushrooms. No apology when we asked they just said we haven't got any. I understand it was closing but no need for it to be dirty and items missing. . Not a good attitude from the staff. They need...
