Typical high street fish & chip shop, staff very pleasant and polite. Normal menu items but expandia bit to include roast dinners, chicken curry, and ham and eggs, I don't know the quality of these dishes but the fish and chips we had were lovely. Plenty of seating available, and one unisex toilet which was clean and tidy. My only real negative was the coffee, it was, IMO, atrocious, basic Nescafé two spoons of coffee and a drop of milk, I had to ask for extra milk for the wife's mug. Super strong builders coffee it would appear, but it might be what the regulars want so who am I to complain as we were only passing through, but in the cutthroat market of daytime eating and offering, even if the one touch coffee machines that are seen in many outlets now might drag in more customers? 🤔 If you're after a tasty quick meal would recommend, especially as they do offer a kids and OAP...

It was 7 o’clock at night on a windy night and the door was propped open The restaurant was very quiet and there was plenty of room but the owner said they did not allow dogs. Floor esp steps up to toilet treacherously slippery; first lady I mentioned it to ignored me so told second who just put 'just been cleaned slippery' warning sign up but I'm sure it hadn't just been cleaned.
We had kebab with salad which was just chopped lettuce and both felt sick after.
