Swan Garden — Restaurant in Wales

The worst experience I’ve ever had! We ordered just after half 7. The food arrived at 10pm! We rang 3 times to request update as it was expected to arrive around 35 minutes. They informed me ‘ the food is out for delivery and should be with you in 15 minutes’. I am a type 1 diabetic, so with the reassurance it would arrive I took insulin. After a further half an hour it still hadn’t arrived. We had to ring back, fortunately I keep glucose tablets to take to prevent diabetic coma’s and raise blood sugar levels! After the third phone call, 15 minutes later The food arrived cold. I checked the chicken wings and it was raw in places ( it was not just pink colouration I know that can happen, this was absolutely raw and had not reached temperature when cooking). We complained to Uber and they refunded just the raw items. But the responce the restaurant gave was appalling and they could not have cared less...

Awful delivery times. We had this issue when we ordered from them before. We thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt and order again but once again poor delivery.

We have tried ringing the restaurant on both occasions but no one answers until maybe the 10th call. When they do answer it sounds like someone practiced in making excuses.

If we lived far away from the restaurant I’d maybe understand, but seeing as we live in the same village it’s very frustrating.

The food spoils and then it’s not worth our money. Getting a refund seems difficult.

The Swan Garden needs to think about an order and collect service or actually getting the delivery at a decent time. I suggest they read the reviews that say the same as us.

I've used Swan garden for a long time ( 33 orders to them) despite them constantly being late (I've grown to expect it) but tonight has finished me off as a customer. The food is over an hour late and still not here expected within the next fifteen minutes but I doubt it. I called the take away numerous times no answer. Not that they are all that polite other times I have called them. The only reason I got an update today was by going through the just eat ap and getting them to request an update, seeing as they refused to answer their phone. I'm beyond tired of there poor service and...
