After taking my son to the hospital we decided to grab an early dinner. The cafe was almost empty so we placed our order. After placing the order I realised they had missed a meal out and also charged the child's meal as individual items, overcharging me by ÂŁ4.25. I queried it witn the till staff and was issued a refund. Upon arrival of the food, I noticed the seasoned fries were all un seasoned. We asked the waiter to add the seasoning and unfortunately someone in the kitchen made sure we got what we asked for. There was tablespoons of seasoning added to the fries making them salty and un edible. Not the service we would expect.

When come shopping, my wife and I stop for a coffee, the place is fine, staff is fine, but although I have complained about it, my cups are half full, which considering the top part is the widest we get less than what we pay for. Please, help!!!! Edit: Fast forward another week. I came back to Tesco cafe like most weeks. The pictures attached are what I took. One of mine and my wife’s cups. One after i stirred it once. And one of the poster. What is your opinion about the difference between the Cafù poster and what you really get?

This was a quick brunch and coffee break. Drinks were prepared quickly and the cappuccino was tasty. The eggs on my toast were too runny, not only yolk but whites too, with no flavor to the avocado, I had to remove my egg and add salt and pepper to it. The toast was made from nice sourdough bread and the chorizo tasted great. Coffee needs an upgrade or a good clean, swap upholstered chairs for plastic if they can't be cleaned regularly because the stains don't look welcoming at all.

⭐☆☆☆☆ “Customer service? Not here.”

Popped into Tesco CafĂ© thinking I’d grab a quick bite and maybe even encounter a bit of that legendary British politeness. Silly me. Instead, I was met with what can only be described as a live performance of “Attitude: The Musical” starring the café’s young staff.

Apparently, asking simple questions—like whether an item was still available—was interpreted as a personal attack. The eye-rolls were practically choreographed. One staff member even managed to be unhelpful and cheeky in the same breath. Now that’s talent.

Need to remove lettuce from a sandwich or any alterations? Don’t bother. You’ll get more warmth from the fridge section. The general vibe? “Why are you even here?”

I wasn’t expecting five-star dining, but I also wasn’t expecting to feel like an inconvenience for trying to order food in
 a café.

If you enjoy passive-aggressive sighs and being made to feel like a burden, you’ll love it here. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and go literally...

My son and I waited 30 minutes for our food, which I don’t normally mind, but everything was cold! I ordered the kids chicken strips, chips and peas for little one. The peas were rock hard and cold, the chicken was the same, and the chips were inedible for him. I ordered the halloumi burger and waffle fries, and got a cold soggy burger and normal, cold chips. I’d understand the wait if it was busy, but it wasn’t at all. And the cold food just isn’t acceptable. I couldn’t even flag staff down to alert them of the matter, because there were either nowhere to be seen, or chatting to each other behind the counter to notice. We usually look forward to going to the cafe as our little end of the week treat, but I’ve been...

I wonder how this cafe still open! Food was well below average. Porridge just a standard tesco pot, they just poured hot water, that’s it! The chef even didn’t bother mixing it! Two Pancakes served as kids meal certainly came out of a packet, not even warm, certainly not cooked at the premises. The banana pieces to go with it had black marks, probably it was the ones nobody bought at the shop floor! The hot breakfast somehow was served cold, possibly explained why we needed to wait around 35min. If you are vegetarian or vegan then don’t even bother coming here! This cafe should be closed! If you’re reading this, go to other fast food restaurants next door, they at least serve...
