Just been to The Anchor for the first time & can honestly say it won't be the last, as we walked in we were greeted by a group of men who all said good morning which was nice. We checked the menu and chose the Set3 Breakfast & 2 teas. The teas came in proper nice cups & a strong cuppa. When the breakfast came I was bowled over, it was lovely as you can see in the photo everything cooked to perfection it tasted gorgeous, we got talking to a regular George who was nice then got chatting to Jo the owner I think and we just felt right at home. There's nothing I could fault the Anchor for, in my eyes everything was spot on. We will definitely be going back & I would 100% recommend the Anchor. Lovely food, lovely service & a...

I stopped by this place for a breakfast bap and a coffee, while my car was in the garage. First, the aesthetic of the place is beautiful, really makes you feel like you’re in an old fashioned cafe by the sea side, whilst maintaining a modern and fresh look. The staff were lovely and helpful, very polite and accommodating. The breakfast sausage and bacon bap used all quality fresh ingredients with no expense spared. Given the quality of the place and the fact that it’s a small business, the prices were still very very reasonable. Going to be difficult to resist coming to this lovely spot every morning :) I can’t recommend this...

We visited this cafe twice on our holidays. Absolutely beautiful food. Home made chips are amazing. We had set 2 full English on day 1, then ham, egg and chips and cheeseburger and chips on day 2. There are more dishes available than on the menu too. Dog friendly so we took our handsome GS dog with us. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
