Eastern Delight — Restaurant in Wales

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We have been ordering from this takeaway for a number of years and can honestly say the food is some of the best we’ve ever had. However, tonight was quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The driver called us and explained he couldn’t find our caravan and after we tried to give him directions, told us he would be with us soon and put the phone down. 30 minutes later, no driver, no food and not even a call back. We phoned the restaurant again and explained what was going on. Whoever mans the phones are rude as all hell; they repeatedly ignored what we were saying, told us they were trying to find out where the driver was then hung up. 10 minutes later, still nothing. So we called back again and was made to feel that it was our fault that the driver could not locate our caravan. I said that we would not be paying full price for the food as it would now be cold (40 minutes after the driver had supposedly made it to the caravan site!!) so we would either pay less for compensation or would like fresh food. Again the person on the phone was rude and dismissive and repeatedly told me the driver could not find the caravan then hung up. Absolutely disgusting customer service, no apology and was made to feel I was at fault. Not only that but the drivers should not even be able to access the site due to a coded gate - this was also dismissed on the phone call when I asked why they were not just meeting us at reception for collection. Absolutely disgusting experience! We’ve never ever had a problem with this place until tonight. We ordered our food and it was delivered, everything was fine until a full strand of hair was found in the food. I called them to discuss it and they accused me of lying saying I ordered it hours ago (8pm) when I ordered it at 10:05pm - the food was delivered at about 10:40pm/10:45pm. Whilst eating, we found the hair which I’ve taken a photo of and the time that I called them to order. I called them at 11:06pm to make them aware of this situation because it’s disgusting. It only cost £11 odd so it wasn’t even about the money, even an apology would of been fine because accidents happen!! But to be accused of lying I’m never ever going back...

I get delivery no matter what I order looks and taste great 👍 I tried the seafood pizza 🍕 not what normally go for but told to try. Wow, all I can say not had a cold food delivery yet. Only say this is had a delivery from another food outlet for some reason cold so next time delivered I ask to see the food You could say the delivery guy wasn't happy to take the food back because it was cold again.
