The Hideaway — Restaurant in Wales

After asking for 2 glasses of Rose wine, the barmaid asked which one. I replied ‘Pinot blush’ The wine we were served was dark and tasted awful. I questioned the barmaid as to whether it was Pinot. She said they had ran out. I asked to speak to the manager as we wanted our wines changed. She said that her barmaid told her that I had just asked for Rose and she was going to believe her member of staff rather than me, the customer. When I insisted that I’d asked for Pinot, she was really rude to me, talking through me and saying that there was nothing she was prepared to do. We were to drink it or pay for something different. Really lovely! Service was outstanding, lovely fun atmosphere, amazing gin. We had the large tapas sharing plates 4 out of 6 where incredible however 2 of them were tomatoey based plates with were flavourless and actually abit horrible so obviously didnt eat them. The lovely waitress took it and said she will pass the feed back on to the chef, however for £25 thought it may have been somehow deducted from the bill. This is only a minor thing and I have recommended this place to all my friends and family cannot wait...

Ordered 2 Long Island ice teas and had to get them replaced because what is this?! I have never seen a Long Island so dark in all the bars I have been in. When challenged the barmaid said ‘That’s what they’re supposed to look like… Google it!’. I asked her to confirm what was in the cocktail and was told there was a lemon and lime monin syrup which just made it taste like sugar, but the menu says ‘fresh lemon juice’.
