Avoid this pub at all costs! Landlord, a total billigerant individual. He was sarcastic and as welcoming as a wasp down your shorts. He decided to turn off the TV on a whim, when customers were watching the Wrexham and Grimsby playoffs, just as the game was going into extra time to put on his 'alexa' music. When other customers and myself asked politely, if he would allow us to watch the end of the match., he refused! We were told ' don't ask'. The food was good ( but even Michelin star cuisine would not tempt me back there again) and the bar help, Jemma, was polite and friendly... 5 adults & my grandson went here recently on an imprompu visit.....we hadn't planned to have a meal so hadnt pre booked but the Staff were very friendly & welcoming & went above and beyond to arrange a table for us.....the dining area was comfortable, quaint, spotlessly clean & decorated to a high standard.. There was a small menu to choose from but Our Main Meals were piping hot, arrived quickly & were reasonably priced.. Small free carpark also.....We will definitely...
