Tylers Arms — Restaurant in Wales

1 star Is being nice, went there Saturday night for a meal for 15 of us, the bar was a little busy but the dining side wasn't, food started coming out with one waitress bringing one meal at a time, my food was placed down and the chips were stone cold which was sent back straight away, my other half ordered lamb shank and it came with chips when it stated creamy mash. My brother in law had burger and chips and there was only 7 chips on the plate(literally we counted) 3 members of the family had hunters chicken and the cheese was so burnt on top it was snapping! One of us had the mix grill and it was so over done he had it wrapped to take home to his dog, most of us had our meal but two and she came out and said that we are waiting on chips being cooked, I finished and the two guys meal still didn't come out. My husband and I were lucky enough to have a Sunday dinner today up the Tyler's made between the 2 chefs (one of which is new) and the amazing girls in the kitchen! Lovely service at the bar beforehand for drinks and had our table for Sunday dinner. Option of 4 meats and could even mix which was a lovely choice. The vegetables were lovely and fresh which came on a serving dish. Yorkshire, stuffing, roast potatoes and parsnips with meat on plate. Plenty on offer and the gravy was stunning. Thanks to the Tyler's look forward to returning with the family next time. Just about had room for dessert. Two special boards and when could finally make the choice I wasn't let down. Amazing food! The Tylers Arms did the catering after my Mother and Fathers interment. They catered for about 40 guest. The food was outstanding and the service was first class. Gary and the team really looked after us all and had no problem catering for a diverse audience, the vegan option was superb. We were all made thoroughly welcome and had a great time.
