The Old Tannery / Yr Hen Danerdy — Restaurant in Wales

My mate reserved a table for all us there 2 adults 5 kids some kids had additional needs older women with shoulder length bob style hair said they got customers sitting in cafe can kids pleade keep noise down I said they are kids will be noisy few them have disabilities my mate and my kids iam deaf kids range some kids young kids she didn't look happy kids not bein naughty they bein noisey felt discrimated on kids so unfair then went order food they normally accomdate for myself am vegetarian very fussy and my son who very fussy has suspected austitim they refuse accomdate us they run out sausages too I tried compromise they said have what on menu was gettin dirty stares off staff so much u bein so good so accommodating not anymore very rude clearly not happy have kids with disabilities etc in cafe felt...

We only had a couple of drinks but worthy of a mention. I'm lactose intolerant so nowhere ever has decaf teabags AND lactose free milk so I always have hot chocolate with oat milk. Had it everywhere with varying success but this cafe serves the best. Firstly it was double size, massive mug and froth for ages. Froth lasted all the way down even after scooping out 4 spoonfuls at the start and still used the spoon at the end to get the last bit. Loads of chocolate but not too sweet so an expensive brand used. It was excellent. Best in North Wales. Brilliant value for £3.90. Will take a diversion here for another instead of going elsewhere anytime....

Visited this venue very recently on a Sunday morning with my partner & our Labrador. I can honestly say it was the best full English breakfast I’ve had in my ripe age of 34. Brian the chef uses all local produce which was tantamount to the quality of the breakfast. The staff were all super friendly and really accommodating for our dog. The kitchen had enough attention to detail to gift us a free sausage for our furry friend. Furthermore, this quaint establishment is situated right next to the river & is steeped in history, being the old tannery building. If you are in the area, this place is a must to visit. 5 stars all round! Regards, Dave...
