My friend has a caravan at Maenan Abbey and we wanted a cooked breakfast on our way to Ruthin to set us up for the day. A quick search on Google found this gem of a cafe. We sat outside because the cafe is only small and was busy. Not a problem as it was a lovely sunny day. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Properly cooked bacon and the crispiest of delicious hash browns. On the breakfast was bacon, sausage, fried mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans, hash brown and a fried egg. My friend had white toast and I had brown toast. The brown toast was delicious as it had nuts and seeds in it. My friend was quite jealous. We had a pot of tea for two. The staff were lovely and friendly. There is a small car park near the cafe. We will definitely be back. Well...

Having stayed in a nearby car park overnight in our motorhome,we called here at 9am Saturday for a breakfast.

We were greeted by a lovely young lady who was very polite & friendly.

Both my wife & I ordered a regular breakfast and a large coffee, and the coffee was very good.

The breakfast was served after around 10 minutes, and it was absolutely lovely. All cooked freshly, and each item was flavoursome,no cheap pieces of bacon/sausage.

The price was £17 and you will struggle to find better.

We will certainly be returning the next time we...

Lovely place to dine, owner was very friendly. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious, a very good portion size... very reasonable price. My only suggestion would be is to add the ingredients of the sausage on the menu as the sausage I got with my breakfast was made from potato and veg ... I just thought I'd be getting an alternative meat, I still enjoyed it though. Regardless I would highly recommend this cafe and would definitely go back.

Fantastic little local café which was clearly very popular for good reason. Visited for lunch based on Google reviews, and it didn't disappoint! It was humble and charming in every aspect. ✨ Service was friendly and prompt and food was great. 🌞 Only niggle was the customer toilets, but understandable, given that the premises is in an old building!
