We've live localish and was happy to hear of this chippy serving GF recently. I am coeliac myself. I will give it 5 stars for the taste and quality. Freshly cooked and very very tasty but it ends there.... we book In advance online, so surely when we arrive our order is ready or there abouts. First few waiting times were 10-20 mins. After that was 40 mins. The most recent visit one hour wait. Its annoying as the idea of us getting a takeaway is to be done earlier at home without having to cook. We pick the time slot for 6.10 and we not eating until going on 8pm! We live 20 mins away but still we should be home by 6.30 / 6.40. This service is not good. A one off maybe but every time now. Any order online should be priority and ready for when that customer arrives. If the customer is not there that is their fault but the orders should be made and ready either way. Another thing also is that you are only told when you arrive that something isn't available. Is there not a way for it to be struck off the menu? We travel 20 mins each way to wait an hour then come away with unfilled orders and the night is later than if we were cooking at home ourselves. It's a huge let down as the food is so amazing we will only come here now such But massively put off knowing we could be in there over an...
Read moreI'm glad 😊 we chose to visit this place before we came to Llanrwst because on a quiet Thursday night we weren't the only ones celebrating and it was very busy. You get a good warm welcoming when entering and the staff are brilliant. This is not just any old chippy it felt it was the heart of the town and the locals were getting their chippy teas and fish and chip suppers while we were sat in a lovely restaurant adjacent to it 😀. We ordered the fish and chips 🍟 because I always go by the saying 'when in Rome ' so if everybody else thinks they are good we had to try them and we weren't disappointed. Very good food and drink 🍸 😋 and a good selection to go at on the menu. Even afterwards we tried the desserts 🍨 and they were devine they just melted in your mouth. So if you see 👀 a queue outside I suggest you join it 😉. Many thanks to the owners and staff because it was a very memorable visit. 😀 The photos of the empty plates shows how good the food was. 😋 Now another year on and we had to have a Friday Chippy Tea . Booked a table just incase and yes it was a good call 🤙 as it got busier as we were eating. As popular as ever, food 🍲 fantastic, the staff just pass on a really...
Read moreVisited this lovely Fish and Chip Shop Restaurant twice during our stay in the local area. We stopped at this lovely village/town early evening on the day we arrived at our holiday home and walked around to see what eateries were open and saw the Tir A Mor Fish & Chip Shop Restaurant next door to the Tir A Mor Take Away Fish and Chip Shop. We entered the restaurant and asked if they had a table for two, we were seated straight away. Very clean restaurant with air conditioning, different sized tables, to accommodate all party sizes, friendly staff, freshly cooked food, served a variety of drinks, from tea / coffee to beer or wine. It's been a long time since we have enjoyed our fish and chip meal, so we had to return before we left Wale and returned to England. We can't thank the staff enough for making both of our visits so enjoyable and will be recommending this Fish and Chip Shop to all our friends and family that visit this part of Wales. 10/10 in all areas,...
