We went to Wu’s after searching online for somewhere special for our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! We ordered the banquet for 2 at £32pp. Upon arrival we were quickly seen to and seated and ordered our drinks straight away. I had a bottle of Pinot Grigio (£22) and my husband had a pint of lager (£5). After around 5-10mins of looking through the menu we decided to go for the sharing banquet. This comprised of Chicken and sweetcorn soup to start and was followed by a selection of Chinese starters, Crispy Seaweed, BBQ Spare ribs, chicken satay, prawn toast and spring rolls. These were all absolutely gorgeous and very tasty! After this we had duck spring rolls with all the usual accompaniments and then had a little break before our mains came out. The waiting on staff that served us were amazing and didn’t rush us to finish everything and they were the ones that suggested we have a little break before our main meals were served. The mains came out and these consisted of Szechwan Beef, Pork fried rice and Lemon Chicken. There was so much food for us to share that we actually couldn’t finish it but omg it was the nicest tasting Chinese we have had in a loooonnggg time!! The flavours were amazing and the food piping hot. We didn’t have a pudding as we were too full but they did have a great selection on the menu to choose from. Overall, Wu’s is absolutely worthy of a visit if you love Chinese food and are in Llandudno, I wish they had a restaurant in Wrexham 😂 Everything from the service to the food was outstanding and we will most definitely be going back there when we’re next in Llandudno! Thank you to everyone there for making our anniversary...
Read moreThis recently opened restaurant is opened by the lovely Lee & her family who previously ran Tops in Craig y Don. We always have a warm welcome on arrival & excellent service throughout. The quality of the food is excellent , lovely , tasty & well presented. Dishes can be adapted to cater for individual tastes where possible - I cannot tolerate hot chilli so they will adapt them for me. By far the best Chinese restaurant in Llandudno. The decor is very unusual & is stunning & cosy. There is a small well stocked bar area too. Booking is recommended as it is not very big & gets full quickly. I always look forward to my next visit! Thank you...
Read moreA hidden gem in Craig y Don residential area of Llandudno, easily accessed from the paddling pool end of North Shore promenade and close to Venue Cymru theatre. From outside Wu’s looks like a guest house & I think that’s what it was before the former owners of Tops moved in last year. Since then they’ve transformed it into a sumptuous, intimate, stylish restaurant which is unique and by far the best oriental option around in my view. We loved the crispy duck starter & vegetable curry with salt & pepper chips to follow, and the service was superb. As local residents we’re proud to have such a quality restaurant nearby, and will...
