Read moreAmazing show but 1 nasty staff member. I surprised my partner with tickets to see six on valentines day at 20:30. All was going good , headed in, a lovely staff member told us where to go and wished us a good time however we decided to head to the bar to grab a drink first. A lady in the bar wore a daisy lanyard. My partner proceeded to order a kopparberg cider and the bar lady starts laughing and says no, and says no again and again. So i asked why not and why was she laughing. And I got a response of no. So my partner grabs her ID out to show her ID because its a regular occurrence that my girlfriend gets ID because she looks young. So the woman grabs the ID and says no again and I ask why , confused, because my girlfriend was born in 2004 and the 18 limit is 2006. And she says this says female on here , and I respond yes and she starts stuttering saying why does it say female. And asks another staff member to come over and confirm this. Another lady comes over has a look on the ID and proceeds to get the drink. Then the lady just bluntly tells us the price of the drinks and take the payment. My partner does not mind getting ID’ at all because she knows she looks young, however all you need to do is politely ask. Not how this lady laughed and mocked, my girlfriend has short hair but the lady didn’t have to say no because its says female, if she was mistaken keep it to yourself and look at the photo, this is a new ID as well therefore the photo is the same to how she looks now. My partner went on through the night pretending it was fine and it didn’t bother her however I am not happy nor impressed by this lady’s unprofessional and just lack in decency behaviour. We didn’t even get a slight apology. Really did dampen the mood of the night and put a bad impression of the place to us. On the other hand , the show was absolutely amazing, and the 2 women in door G that greeted us were so lovely . Was awesome to see as well in the show there was an...
Read moreCame here on the 27th march 2025 for the Whitney Houston tribute act as a Mother’s Day present for my mum and the majority of the staff were lovely but when me and my mum went in to the seating are we got spoken to like a piece of dirt by 3 members of staff for no reason one not very good at all especially when I come here all the time and I’m also a vulnerable disabled adult and I have never been so disrespected in my life and neither has my mum and not only that my mum got up to dance like everyone else and that’s when a young member of staff spoke to us again like rubbish and I’m not trying to be funny there is a time and place to speak to people respectfully and not and me and my mum did not do anything wrong and if you are going to work in a place like venue cymru then you need better manners and compassion for everyone and treat everyone the way you want to be treated but the 3 members of staff that were so rude to me and my mum need to either retire or get a new job as if they worked in a pub they wouldn’t of been spoken to like rubbish and not only that they only do a few hours of work a day there but most staff do all day how would they feel if they worked in a pub which is 10x more stressful than working in venue Cymru for a few hours never again would I ever want to come here again even if I love the place or not me and my mum are not there to be spoken to like rubbish or ever want to be spoken or treated like rubbish again in here come on I think there needs to be something to happen such as training on how to speak to paying customers going here...
