Absolutely amazing experience this afternoon at The Traveller's Well. T-Bone steak was cooked perfectly. Better than my experience at actual Steak Houses. And it was very reasonably priced! Staff were friendly and very accomodating when we explained to staff about my younger brother and his Sensory Processing Disorder. We asked to be moved to a quieter table, and they happily obliged. Very positive experience. Will return as soon as Covid allows us to!

Beautifully cooked food, excellent service and great value. Parking was a little tricky as their car park is very small, but once we found somewhere to leave the car, we were given a friendly welcome. Gluten free menu available with a wide selection including desserts. The staff were very much on the ball about allergens. A fantastic experience from start to finish, highly recommended.

Went for Sunday lunch and the food was great and excellent value for money. Would definitely go back! They do need to be more careful with allergies / intolerances as we communicated an intolerance and then starters were brought with that on 🙈 Fortunately spotted (by us!) and rectified, but had the potential to be worse. Parking is on street nearby, so could be a bit hit and miss.

Visiting my mother in wales and decided to treated her for a Sunday lunch, the venue is clean and nicely presented with fairy lights on the ceiling and a flower wall. my young daughter was very taken with fish in the fish tank tho feel this area along with the tank didn’t sparkle like the rest of the venue, our roast dinner was lovely and so was the gravy as some places serve gravy that may as-well be water but this wasn’t the case and our Cheese cakes were lovely and light. Good value for money. How ever our experience was dampened slightly by the customer service. The girls were lovely could not fault their customer service skills, welcoming, helpful and very friendly. But upon asking for a shorter glass for my daughter who was struggling using the tall pint style size glass, the young man behind the bar gave my mum a slimmer tall glass, again explained needed a shorter glass, he was very abrupt said that we don’t have any huffed and then rolled his eyes (didn’t even bother too have a look), one of the girls handed my mum a short glass and asked if this one would be ok to which we were very appreciative of. We have owned pubs for years and know that bars stock more than 1 hight of glass! I Didn’t appreciate my mum being fobbed off nore spoken to the way she was, it Let’s the team and Doesn't give a nice impression of the buisness.

But we are Looking forward to coming back particularly my daughter just for the “scoopy chips” on our next visit. Thankyou for your amazing customer service girls fingers crossed the young man will follow...

If you love having dogs running around your feet and jumping up on your chair whilst you eat, then this is the place to go! I was sat having Sunday lunch with my family, when a couple sat on the table next to us. To my surprise, the couple had two dogs with them that were both allowed to jump up on the chair and roam around my feet and also try to jump up onto my wife’s chair whilst She was eating her Sunday dinner. The couple were also allowed to hold the dogs on their lap at the table. I’ve never been to a restaurant whereby dogs are roaming free, barking and crying whilst I eat my Sunday lunch. If I was made aware of this prior to booking, I most certainly would not have entertained dining here. As I was leaving, I then noticed another table that had a dog sat on the persons lap whilst she ate her food. The dog had long fluffy fur and appeared to be quite buoyant. I can’t begin to explain how unhygienic this was. who would want or expect to have dog hair flying around whilst you are eating your food?? Absolutely no one I would expect!! I certainly won’t...

Absolutely disgusting! Order for takeaway Sunday lunch on 6th November placed on Friday, 4th November. Daughter having lunch at the premises and was going to bring them home with her after her lunch. Was informed that there was no food left when she went to the bar to collect them. Waitresses having a laugh at the situation, practically in my daughters face!. I spoke with "man in charge "and was told,my daughter should have reminded them,oh yes of course she should have, silly me ,I forgot customers have to remind staff how to do their jobs!!!! "Tony" (man in charge)told me that they had provided 70 takeaway lunches and ours was the only ones not provided for,he was extremely ambivalent relaying this. My 93yr old dad had been waiting patiently for his lunch only to be told, there was none. Absolutely disgusted with not only the poor service (or rather no service) staff attitude was appalling, rude, discourteous and unprofessional. Will advise family and friends not...
