Do not visit, terrible food, chef is hopeless. I am not sure what has happened to this once pleasant cafe. We came about 9 months ago and it was pleasant. Ordered a mushroom and cheese omelette with chips and wife a tuna salad. Omelette was a fried egg with criss cut pattern and vinegar and mushrooms and cheese in separate bowl with the chips, disgusting. The salad contained a festering piece of cucumber, no lettuce and pieces of chopped tomatoes and tuna covered in mayonnaise, oh no. We weren't the only ones, other customers complained that food wasn't fit to eat. The girl who served us was pleasant and helpful apologised and was embarrassed, not her fault. Please avoid or please owners get a chef who knows what they are doing. You should not be getting away with this terrible food or you will be out of...

Dropped in for a quick lunch and unfortunately left very underwhelmed. We ordered a toastie and a BLT — the toastie was barely toasted and quite dry, while the BLT was equally dry and uninspired (lots of mayo for the toastie due to no butter). Both meals were advertised as coming with a salad, but what we received was just the sandwich, and not even cut in half.

The atmosphere didn’t help either: the cafe was eerily silent with no music playing, and since they painted the interior red, it feels darker and less inviting. For £16 (two below-average sandwiches, a water, and a can), we expected at least a decent standard of food. Sadly, we won’t...

Went here on the bank holiday weekend as a newbie to the area , seating is limited so we was lucky to get a table, there was many people coming and going so must be a popular and well known place and I can see why.

Could not fault the place at all , everything we all had to eat was delicious, good portion size, fresh and tasty.

The guy serving us was fantastic he was busy and rushed off his feet but was so polite, friendly, and helpful !! He was doing a fantastic job.

Very clean and homely feel inside,...

The coffee is actually very nice, but the chips are really disgusting. We expected the food to be simple but the chips came covered in old brown cooking oil that clearly should have been changed a while ago. That isn’t pepper on the chips, it’s crumbs of old fried food. I could actually smell the sour old oil frying from the front. The place is grand for a takeaway coffee but definitely don’t stop to eat!
