Valley's Spice Indian Restaurant & Takeaway — Restaurant in Wales

Today I went on my own for a meal, ordering an appetiser, lamb passanda, coconut rice and garlic and cheese nan bread. It was beautiful. As you see the plate was empty afterwards. The food- full of flavour and hot in temperature. The food tasted fresh and had good texture and meat was tender. The staff- Staff were very polite and friendly, I was served by a gentleman and a lady who always had a pleasant smile.

The restaurant was not too busy but it had a nice relaxing atmosphere with gentle music playing. It has disabled access although entrance doors could be difficult to navigate through without help. There are toilets on the lower level. The restaurant is over two level with suitable lighting so you can relax and enjoy your food and not be blinded by bright lights.

It was a good evening and I enjoyed it. The other customers also seemed to be relaxed and able to chat without difficulty and were enjoying their food. I look forward to coming...

I have seen all reviews and went for dinner… I was sooo disappointed with the place. 1)poor customer service- only one member taking order for takeaway, eat in and serving food. 2)Hygiene- fingerprints on clean serving plate. Bugs were flying on the food while we eat. 3)food- waited 30 min for starter… which was nothing but oil soggy pakoda and samosa. For main course waited more than one hour. And food was not so looking good in taste and in presentation.

I am requesting owner of the restaurant,to provide proper training to their staff..please focus on the customer who is present in your restaurant, not only take away orders. It could be someone’s special day and it can be ruined by these kind of service.

For vegetarian i wont recommend this place. I am not sure about non...

Nice little restaurant, we were a group of 6, pre booked a table on a Saturday night for 7.30. There we 2 other groups in the restaurant and plenty of space for walk ins. We ordered drinks and poppadoms after arriving around 7.15pm, they took our food order about 1/2 hour later. We had to flag the waiter down for extra drinks and chased our food order up after around an hour of waiting. Not the best in that aspect. However the Saagwala I had was lovely, and the tikka masala.
