This is a Marston pub and we prebooked a table on their website, tip - you can make requests on the booking system when booking. Modern, comfy restaurant with carpeted and stone floor areas for dogs. Prompt, friendly, helpful table service provided by Mitchell. Food menu is no longer two for one but is reasonably priced. With a good selection of starters, burgers, pub grub staples and deserts etc. We ordered three grazers :Buttermilk chicken and bbq chicken wings with dirty fries, and a mixed grill. The food was delicious and served quickly and there was plenty of it. We recommend this local restaurant and will be back. This restaurant is wheel chair accessible with a wheel chair accessible toilet. Car parking located in the large retail outlets car park. This is a children friendly and dog friendly restaurant. Recent visit July 2023 there are offers on Monday to Thursday for a meal and a drink, check them out. Revisit December 2022 great sirloin steak and mixed Grill.Grandchildren enjoyed the chicken nuggets and pencils with activity papers to keep them occupied. Still have the meal. Offers through the week.

Pre-Covid Review It's a really nice restaurant, kid friendly and has disabled access, Lovely staff and atmosphere and the food is really good with the portions being more than enough for the main. The drinks (alcoholic) pints have too much of a head, Cocktails and Martinis were lovely. On my visit me and my party wanted to get the Sundae to share which comes in a great big glass goblet and they didnt have the massive goblet available to we had to have 2 small ones for the same price as the goblet which the ice cream amount in the two small would never make it to even half the goblet. for smokers you're aloud to smoke out front of the restaurant. All around I would recommend.

Just another purpose built pub same as All the public house conglomerates, you know the ones a manager not a landlord. Basically on the outskirts of a small shopping park. After the previous statement you might think to avoid this venue like the plague, not so! Pleasant staff and overlooking a small picturesque lake. (Smokers paradise) Nice little Spot to sit & have a beverage or two on a summer's night. Food is OK-ish no Michelin stars, usual factory fair similar to lots of places.

Terrible 😔 worse customer experience. Couldn't order coffee because I couldn't scan QR code outside on table. Wanted coffee whilst deciding on menu choices. Couldn't get into outside area initially as closed off and weather was lovely on the day we visited at four thirty in the evening. Manager was extremely unhelpful and patronising and not in the least bit helpful simply stated he couldn't serve me unless I scanned the code. Therefore myself and two friends left the place. Restaurant was almost empty not the attitude to have towards customers terrible customer relations disgusting not in the least bit helpful.woukd not recommend this place. We were not offered a table insteadthat is complete rubbish and customer service was terrible that day . We were treated like idiots so I do not accept your explanation it's rubbish and why block entrance to the garden if you have children or are elderly it's ridiculous situation. You obviously aren't prepared to take constructive criticism of any kind maybe you need to look at why your restaurant and garden area was empty at this time.stsrt listening to your customers and stop listening to your ego it won't get you anywhere we won't be visiting again or recommending you .we were not offered a table inside you were obsessed with the qr code. So use it yourself then. Second visit service terrible was rudely informed no booking in my name .I booked on line so has to show proof of booking . Rather embarrassing in a queue of people. Eventually shown to table with no cutlery ,serviettesand wiped table myself with sanitiser wipes. Ordered food and drinks lovely waiter polite and friendly. Food took longer than usual but it was quite busy. Food arrived had to ask again for cutlery but no serviettes . . No one attended table to ask if we required more drinks , food satisfaction or if we would like a dessert. Poor level...

Prebooked for a Sunday roast dinner for me and my husband at The Willow tree, Brynmawr, took quite a while to be shown to our table as the girl was seeing to other things in between seeing to customers at the reception, when eventually we were shown to our tables we were shown to a very small table pushed in a corner at the children's side of the pub, I asked if there might be another table available but she said no. We waited quite a long time for someone to come and take our order but in the end my husband had to queue up at the bar to order our drink and meal only to be told there was no choice of meats left for our dinner only chicken, which when arrived turned out to be 2 very small chicken fillets; when our meal came with one side order we had to put the box of condiments that was on the table on the floor as there was no room, considering we had prebooked this Sunday roost dinner all in all it wasnt the best of experiences, surely people who has booked their table before hand should have priority to the meats for their Sunday roast and a reasonable place to sit. This visit has put me off going there again or recommending it to anyone, which is a big pity as me and my husband likes to go out occasionally for a Sunday lunch . As they say there are always plenty of other places we can...

First establishment l've visited where EVERYTHING was too much trouble! Not realising l had to book a table in the dog friendly area (only told that dogs were allowed) we arrived to find all dog tables occupied. So we could only eat outside. My suggestion that some people who had not yet been served might be happy to move to the non-dog area was utterly rejected My choice of meal (from the specials menu we were handed as we ventured out into the elements) was NOT available outside. Only food that appeared in the App (so we spent at least half an hour trying to sort out our order in outside light peering into a tiny phone). When it started to rain we were told a couple of dog friendly tables were now free so we trooped in. BUT we were NOT allowed to put the 2-and 4-seater tables together (we were six) for safety reasons...... there needed to be a passage between them. But no objection was raised to the dog sprawling in this space, and no reasoning (that passage could still happen freely on the other side of the two seater if it had joined up with the 4) was listened to. So we shouted at our friends across the great divide... Quite unbelievable lack of consideration for guests needs and comfort, totally unreasonable...
