Awful customer service average food and overpriced. Visited for breakfast. I ordered 2 x scrambled eggs on toast, a veggie sausage, egg and mushroom Vbap, bara brith, 2 teas and a hot chocolate. First of all I was told the price was £13.00 to which I queried it, the elderly waitress then told me she had given me someone else’s bill and proceeded to add up my bill with a perplexed look consulting her younger colleague. I was then told the bill was £29.00. I handed over £30 and did not receive my £1 change. I let this slide. When our food was brought out the scrambled eggs were taken to the wrong table the waitresses discussed where they were supposed to go it then dawned on them they were for us but one of them said to the other there is a bap with that which isn’t ready, so the scrambled eggs were taken away again. A few minutes later the scrambled egg was brought back out with the bap but no egg in the bap, I informed the waitress who took the bap back into the kitchen she later came out and asked the elderly woman behind the counter if an egg had been ordered. The woman said no. So the waitress came to me and said an egg wasn’t ordered you will have to pay for it. Disgusted that I was being questioned over the price of an egg I told the women not to bother and questioned where my bara brith was as that had not been delivered with the food. Incompetent or dishonest I am not sure, but I won’t be back...

A wonderful little place for Breakfast. The ladies (and gent!) At Y Gegin Fach welcomed us for a wonderful breakfast. Cooked Breakfasts came with toast and tea/coffee as part of the price, we went for the typical, eggs bacon and sausages breakfast which was lovely! If you’re there for breakfast they have wide menu available for breakfast, lunch and dinners too inclusive of smoothies, milkshakes, iced coffees and naughty treats including some traditional Welsh bakes which we purchased to take home with us! Came in for a light lunch and we chose to sit outside however the only table available was next to a bin so was swarming with wasps and so we decided to go inside and because we didn’t have our crystal ball on us we were unaware the server was cleaning the table and as we went to sit down she was extremely rude and made us feel so unwelcome we left .
