Always go in here some of the meals are nice. But I’m leaving a review as I went in a few months ago and my partner ordered a full English thing of the classic menu. When it come out the beans had looked like they had been sat on the plate for hours under a light to keep them warm. They was dry and crusty and we told the server and ask if the beans could be replaced. He took the plate and come back with to look like fresh deans in till my partner put his fork in them to see they wasn’t fresh beans just a spoonful of new beans had been placed on top of the crusty ones. So my partner told them he didn’t want the food and asked for a refund for both our foods as I wasn’t going to eat with out him and didn’t touch mine because of what was going on so they said they would refund for both meals and drinks of pop because of what had happened. My total was £25.27 and because I payed on card I had to have a refund back to my card. When I was about to tap the card reader for the money back it had said £11.79 so I questioned the man and said it was £11.79 on the reader but he ASSURED ME!! That I would be getting back the full £25.27. And it’s was a fault with the reader!!!! The next day look and behold to see I only received a refund of £11.79!!!👎🏻 so I went in to speak to the manager a few days after for him to say he’s sorry for what happened and he would send me a £20 voucher threw email for my convenience. I give him my email and name and to this day 3 months after I still haven’t received absolutely nothing so I basically payed for food I never even had😂 just a warning check when it comes to refund because look like they don’t care much about the customer when it comes to food and refunding them there own money. Worse thing is, I go in there constantly for food and drinks and have spent a lot of money. I haven’t said another again because I don’t feel like I should of had to. For a manager he should of done his job. He still sees me after all of this and don’t bat a eye lid😂 absolutely unprofessional BUT AY YO AS LONG AS THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE PEOPLE THERE MONEY BACK HES...

I've been here a few times, and food is always good, so we chose to have our annual Christmas get-together here. Four of us booked in, and 3 of us had the festive menu (good price, nice menu) 1 normal menu. Started of good, got first round of drinks in, decided what we eating then I went to the bar to order our food. I stood there for what felt like forever waiting to get served. The bar is a U shape, so staff need to be checking both sides, which they don't. A regular had to call them over to serve me. Order taken in 2 minutes after waiting at least 10. Starters came 2 had soup, 1 prawn cocktail both lovely. Main meals 3 had turkey dinner 1 had steak. Beautiful all 4 meals plenty turkey and trimmings. I did order cauliflower cheese as sn extra and got sprouts in cheese instead, but surprisingly, they were nice. While we waited for desert, I returned to the bar for another drink wish I hadn't bothered. Another 10 minutes stood waiting while they served in the bar area. A chap with a Christmas jumper on was emptying the glass washer the whole time I was there, no eye contact made by him until he decided to tell me " we don't serve there this time of night you'll have to come round the bar area" this is 9.35pm ish. So round the bar I tootle bearing in mind I've already been there 10 minutes to then be over looked by the men who had just got to the bar (young wench serving just in case you wondered) well to say I peed off was an understatement. I put my money away and returned to our table so fed up that we didn't say for desert we had them to go. Kitchen service fantastic tasty good food. Bar service terrible. If your thinking of visiting this place be very wary , my experience was horrifying I was burnt with hot tea on my hand due to lack of adequate equipment which I didn't take further or complain ,numerous occasions I've been for breakfast and they never meet the correct dietary requirements , several occasions there's been no eggs , no milk ,no mushrooms, not warned before ordering then receiving less items on the breakfast ,I also asked for certain dietary requirements then got ignored. there was hair In the butter I asked to change it then got huffed and puffed at by a lady called Emma (assistant manager )with green and pink hair, my friend nearly got pierced with a sharp end of a parasol sticking out as there was lack of health and safety measures in the garden ,parasols flying about without proper bases , causing paid for drinks to fly over onto us ,whcih wasn't replaced ,we only received fresh glasses and then the owner didn't even bring the adequate equipment to hold the parasol in place this was done by a total stranger , we were left shocked and without drinks , I went in the following day to be told I am barred for bringing my own wine into the garden bear in mind I had no warning of this that it wasn't allowed as the drinks wasn't brought inside also All our drinks toppled over due to the parasol if I was told I would of certainly not brought into the garden , I also suffer with health conditions and this has been a horrible experience , disability...
