Apr. '22. First, the bad news. The car park is too small when it's busy. They do Premium Lagers in bottles, but I think they should do one on draught as an alternative to Carling (ugh). Could probably do with a spruce up outside. (some of the roughcast has come off the wall by the side door). NOT TO BE CONFUSED with the Robin 2 in Bilston. Having said that, this is a great pub. A proper real ale pub, very traditional, with plenty of choice for the discerning beer drinker. Families welcome, but not really a "young person's" pub. Could do with being extended perhaps, but then it might lose some of it's character, which would not be welcome. Highly...
Read moreBeer Ok,........but staffs attitude not. We went in here a while ago on a saturday night and went in the beer garden as it was dry. We were with our neighbours who regulary frequented the place on a weekend after walking their dog taking their 15 yr daughter with them...no issues normally. On this night they had their daughters friend with them ...and all they did was sit quietly on their phones as teens do. It was around 8.10 pm and we had just got another round of drinks when a male member of staff informed us we must drink up and leave as its company policy no teens after 8pm. This we have been told by a manager in another Black Country Brewery pub that this is not so!! Therefore in future we shall all drink somewhere else where our custom will be appreciated and where teens wont be discriminated against. I,m glad you can turn away custom....there may come a time in the near future you might regret...
