YUM Burger Walsall — Restaurant in Walsall

I'd ordered online before and really enjoyed the food, so as I was in the area I popped into the restaurant to treat myself.

Restaurant is very clean! Staff are friendly and very efficient. Had a good chat with the owner, who walked me through the menu and helped me to decide as I was a bit clueless when gazing at the menu :D

There were customers seated, eating their meal - you know the food is fab when people are too busy munching to chat to each other.

Not wildly hungry, I went for Oh My Cod, Loaded Fries and an (own brand) full fat cola. Prices are amazing, but this is part of why I love living in Walsall.

Delicious fish burger; very tasty, and a "just right" portion. Perfectly cooked too, not dry, not greasy, just lovely.

Loaded Fries; oh mi days! I had a problem with these - I couldn't shovel them in fast enough! Seriously these could become addictive as they're the perfect "umami" taste combination that makes you want more. These are dangerously good, you have to try them. I'm not listing what's in them as you really do need to try them for yourself.

Yum Cola; made me happy! Full fat, I don't do diet cola. This took me back to my childhood, before the big companies started messing with cola flavours, and reminded me of Proper cola when it tasted awesome! This is no weak coke-alike, Yum Cola stands up on it's own as a fantastic cola.

The owner explained his ethos about taste, freshness, supporting local business and community, and I can honestly say that I can taste his meaning in the quality of the food and drink.

I genuinely enjoyed my meal, and will be going back for more, but I really think you should try Yum for yourself; quality impressive fresh food at Walsall...

Ordered one of the premium burger but the size was like a kids burger the bun was small hence the meat patty, the ranches was a bit chewy felt a bit undercooked , the fries was mix of old and new so hot and cold and that's what I had a sit in meal , no clear on the price as there is no mention that if you order as a meal is extra charges which I found out the hard way after paying, the worse was the drink, a machine drinking which was the only option if I was told that in the start might not have ordered and taken my business to next place,as the drink tasted my cough syrup diluted with water, which honestly dint taste anything like this , it was seriously bad Really sad to say this the place needs to look into the things it is doing wrong I won't be going there again as my first impression...

If I could give one star, I would. The level of "management" is absolutely shocking. We ordered food for delivery via Uber and fries were missed. After a call to the store, the fries were delivered albeit 20 mins after the original delivery. NO COMPLIMENTARY drinks or anything I will add. After reviewing on Uber which I have absolute perogative as a PAYING customer, the "manager" replied cheekily which indicated poor leadership and poor customer service. Needless to say, I will be speaking ill of this branch and " manager". Furthermore, "manager" is conveniently on holiday (whilst replying to reviews) so I was unable to speak to him directly. The ONLY good thing was the floor manager who tried his best to rectify issues and resquested feedback. Please stay away form this...
