A La Cart Cafe — Restaurant in Warwick

I called in to the A La Cart Café for a quick take out sandwich and a coffee. I had a corned beef and tomato sandwich in a crusty roll from the pre-made display and a mocha. I have to say that both were absolutely delicious. I love corned beef and tomato sandwiches and I’m something of a mocha aficionado - so much so, I’ve sadly be called Mocha Man at one café! The sandwich was as nice a sandwich as I can remember having as the crusty roll was top quality,and the mocha was really really nice. The nicest thing though was the lovely welcome by the lassie behind the counter who made the drink from scratch - not by pressing a button on a machine. This cafe is improving over time. The waiting times used to be really long up to the point where they advised you that they could not serve you. Recently thought they have upped their game and the service is much better. Lost a star as they don't pay enough attention to the minor points of your order and therefore sometimes you don't get your food exactly the way...

An accidental find but worth a detour if you're in the area. Fresh hot tasty food, quick friendly service, wide range of dishes to appeal to all tastes.
