Charlie's Cafe — Restaurant in Watford

Coming into the cafe, I was immediately greeted by the waitress. The service was very quick and only took about 7 minutes to receive my food. I was impressed by the huge portions; the sausage, chips, bacon, mushrooms and eggs all cooked perfectly. The eggs had a runny yolk so make sure to ask for it well done if this isn’t your thing. Also the toast came pre-buttered which I really enjoyed. The toast was a little burnt for me although my partners was perfect, maybe a little luck of the draw. Always great service from pleasant staff, who make you feel welcome. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. However, the cafe is small, seating about 40 people, and being a very popular place gets very busy.

A very basic cafe which has quite a huge options to choose from from hot meals to sandwiches. No menu on arrival so have to choose directly at the counter and no table service either.
