First of all got to say staff are good and curtious, but my breakfast was not good extremely over priced £11.00 for a full English, which by the way I don't mind paying if the breakfast is well cooked with non cheap ingredients, scrambled egg was nice mushrooms cooked Welland the beans were heated up OK. But the sausages while not cheap were not cooked well for starters they were hard on the ends as if cooked more than once. The bacon was a little over cooked but not awful and good quality. The black pudding was under cooked but also of decent quality. My fried slice was burned and not a little burned so bad I couldn't eat it as it spoiled the flavour of an already sub par breakie. P. S no idea what they done with my hash browns while tasted OK they didn't hold together well at all. I don't normally do reviews but when you pay 11pound for such a rubbish breakfast I could not help myself . If you want a well cooked breakfast you can go to jennie just 10 15 shops down and get the same breakfast for 8pounds and will be cooked...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place enough. The food here is consistently superb. A fantastic breakfast made from high quality ingredients - proper sausages and tasty bacon cooked with evident skill. A wide selection of generously filled sandwiches, prepared to order and served in freshly baked bread. And then there's the treats to go with those eats... yum! I'm a personal fan of the homemade apple turnovers - so good! It takes a lot of self control to not order two every time I get one! It would be remiss of me not to also mention the amazing people who work here, who create a genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
It may not be the cheapest place to nab some food on the street, but it's certainly the best bang for your buck. (And the best banger!) You get what you pay for and then some. One of the real stars of Watford, and one I shall continue to...
Read moreAfter dropping off our daughters at Warner Bros studios me and my friend were on the highstreet at 10:30am on Saturday morning looking for WC and this was the only open and buzzing place. Well.. it turned out to be one of the most friendliest places I've ever been to in London! Everyone here is beeing met with a smile and open heart, not even mentioning their baked goodies and treats. What a wonderful atmosphere! We had two paninis, tea, coffee and a good chat about the amazing experience the owners had during many years or running the bakery, including bookings from Harry Potter crew. It's a shame we don't live anywhere close by to be able to come here more often. We wish you all the best of luck for many years! P.S. yes, there...
