The Coffee House — Restaurant in Waverley

Went for lunch with friends today, restaurant over priced and limited lunch menu, was told to use there coffee shop and there menu was even worse but as it was awful weather and friends had come far we ordered what was supposed to be paninis, Sat outside in what I can say was a amazing pod no fault there. But having to go back and forwards to collect our own food and drinks, The discription of one of the paninis was discribed as tuna and onion but came with cheese in, lucky that the friend realised this as she has a allegy to cheese, lady behind counter was fair and replaced with a scone but with no refund of the difference, we should have learnt our lesson but we returned later after a trip around the centre to have a cuppa tea, sitting in the pod one rude member of staff had no courtesy to say they were closing shortly but just turned the heating and light of in the pod, not only our but disgruntled other customers as well, After being in the hospitality trade for nearly 35 years this was the icing on the cake, no wonder places are closing with this kid of experience, what a shame the "bear" left there,...

Haven't given any star ratings for this place as it was an awful experience 😞 Staff member was very unfriendly & unhelpful no interest wotsoever when I complained about my clotted cream being frozen & congeled/inedible & OUT OF DATE!!! Todays date 25th April Cream Dated 3 April 🙄 Told they buy it in and freeze it ( (which is not recommended on Rodda's website) & surely doesn't meet with the 5* Food Quality Rating they've been given? The fruit scone was dry & as hard as a rock so probably frozen too & their coffee was unpleasant & very overpriced!!!!!!!!!Say no more go...

Told to wait 15 minutes before the Cabin would be open even though it was 30 minutes after the advertised opening time. Service was poor and coffee expensive. Made Costa look good!

Update! Prices have just been increased by a staggering amount. Ridiculous for a takeaway drink. Definitely lost my custom. Suggest you...
