Awful hostile atmosphere from the "locals". Felt like it might kick off at any point. Felt very uncomfortable and unable to relqx. The women in there were dancing about side eying with dirty looks and whilst sitting outside under thr cover had some bloke accusing my partner of having his phone !! The said individual had eyes like saucers so clearly off his nit! Shame as a nice pub but visitors arent made welcome by the locals ! Read moreCame here for a couple games of pool. Both staff are extremly friendly, kind, and all patrons + staff make you feel welcome. It feels lile you are a regular even if it is your first time there. Pool is £1 a game, free on sundays. Price for a pint is wallet friendly, as cheaper than most pubs. More of a Drinking pub, than a gastro pub which gives it a lot more character and atmosphere. The food they serve looks delicious and fresh although we didnt have it.
If you are walking distance, a pub to check out 100%. Worth driving to also due to the amount of parking.

Very friendly helpful staff behind the counter. I would guess that this is an independently owned pub - you don't get service like this in a chain! Very attractive "pub classic" menu.
